Good food near the beach is the best option... a huge portion of fries, burgers and grilled fish made my friends and I happy stopped by here. Liked the environment and the back garden too. Well done. Recommend it to everyone

Great service, and after 2yrs of looking across wider Melbourne and surrounds, finally really good fish and chips!!! The fish was moist and firm, but not rubbery and the chips were perfect! Not too much batter and the meal left us without that oily feeling. Worth our drive of 1 1/2hrs!!!!

Paid $59 for 4 pieces of fish at $8 each, large chips and some fried snacks and we received 4 tiny pieces of fish - literally halved fillets and less than minimum chips. What an absolute rort - its unfortunate as a local that this is the only option in the area. I would never recommend this place to anybody unless they want to be completely ripped off.

Chicken parmas were great ! But sadly the garlic pizza I ordered was so dry and crumbly and terrible. The chips were better then fish and chip shop chips and salted perfectly. Alcoholic drinks were great and atmosphere was amazing sat outside in court yard. Service is super friendly and easy going.

Your burgers were fantastic. Hubby had the one with the lot and actually said it's one of the best burgers he's ever had and that's saying something. The only reason you didn't get 5 stars was the fish was uneditable. Chewy and rubberish, we think it was banjo shark. Get rid of that and our meals were DELICIOUS. Even the macaroons were amazing.

Came here a couple weeks ago with a bunch of mates as we were staying in the area, was super keen for fish n chips on the beach, ordered 8 flakes and heaps of chips, which usually would be heaps to feed 14 people at any other fish n chips place, however when they came out, it was tiny pieces, I was gutted as I had a bunch of hungry mated waiting and the next fish n chips shop was 20 minutes away, I understand it's a cafe and portions are smaller, but you don't go to a cafe and order fish and chips separately, it usually comes with chips and a salad. The staff were nice but they could see we had heaps of people to feed and didn't advise us that 8 tiny flakes probably wouldn't do.

Fish is an amazing chunk flake, chips Nice and crunchy but the potato cakes literally dripped oil. Will try the grilled fish next time as it was a little oily fried

Got a couple of take away pizzas here. Had a couple of vegetarian options and was very impressed with how tasty and fresh the ingredients were. Prices are about $20 a pizza which for the quality and being a small coastal town relying on tourism I can understand.

A fantastic little place with a secret garden room which is perfect for a quiet cuppa or the young family. The fish & chips were slightly more oily than maybe they should be but it was fresh oil not old and burnt tasting stuff. The chips were chunky cut and at $4.50 enough to feed 3 adults comfortably. Staff really friendly and helpful - especially when dealing with cranky teething 2 year old! Well done, we will be back.

They had some teething problems early in the season ( new staff! Covid!) but the pizzas have been consistently great, the burgers got awesome too, and the fish and chips are excellent. Well done, and thanks for getting through a superTough summer!
