Traumatic avoidable experience due to poor communication between staff in emergency. Nobody was on the same page. Poor night nurses wanted to help me but couldn't because there were no doctors available to start surgery on time or to sign off on pain relief, I was bleeding and in agony in front of other patients in the waiting room for hours only to be told 6 plus hours later to go home and return the next morning. 7 months later and I am still traumatised by my experience at this hospital. Outpatients on the other hand are fantastic which is why I'm not giving this hospital 1 star. They need more staff.

On the 15th of April we experienced amazing service and compassion from a lovely mid wife name Cathy Heron. We absolutely appreciate the time and effort to help educate us, to show support during difficult times as well as ensuring the well being of our newborn is 100% their priority! Thank you

Had my first and second baby there. First was fine, second was traumatic. 14hr labour and I kept getting shamed for making too much noise. Even had them say it in delivery video. Three attempts multiple times by two doctors to get epidural in and only needed a longer needle. One of them was a specialist. Hospital had him call me after I complained. He kept saying it's just a fickle thing and told me to make sure to tell the doctors I need a longer needle next time. There won't be a next time. My body goes in paralysis and shivers like I was at labor when I get the flu or too cold a winter time. Reliving it. My first had no complications and only needed the first try to get the epi.

I was there because I had covid. I have chronic chrohns. I had been off work for a week. I couldn't breathe so I went to the hospital and they had me wait. Then the lovely female doc did scans and when they came back, I had, numoniyaand a collapsed lung., they sent me home. I went back 2 more time and did the same test's then sent me home. I got scared to go to any hospitals after that. I finally got to an appointment at my GP and I had long covid. I don't recommend this hospital.

My wife is pregnant and had to wait 7 hours to get a doctor. I was with her. 12:40am (after midnight) we got a doctor. The service is so poor that at first they were arguing that my wife is not pregnant. Eventually after rechecking the paperwork they found that she was pregnant. The worst part is that the nurses, receptionist and doctors justified the service by blaming it on low staff. The hospital have no respect for the patients and their families & their time. All other patients had the same experience in the emergency. Overall very very poor healthcare service.

I came here for routine antenatal tests and sat for 6 hours before they sent a psychiatric intern to see me! How would a head doctor know about my unborn fetus?! After a long and unnecessary discussion she took me in to a private room and did a groin inspection. 2 seconds later telling me to leave the building!!!never coming back.Dave

Went to ed yesterday in acute pain. Drs and nurses that dealt with me were awesome. However!!after being told by surgeon to come back in if it got worsePresented tonight by ambulance in pain again. Pain was excruciating whilst sitting in ed. pain was that bad I passed out and collapsed to floor. Some form of nurse (used very loosely) came and told me to get up!! I asked for a hand and she refused to help. I am not bending down to get you?? Nit a very Nice manner used by this piece of work. Get up you can’t lay on the floor. I said I collapsed from pain do you really think I would just lay on a disgusting floor. Maybe this nurses skills could be better used elsewhere. Like Africa!! As she is no good as an ed nurse. I will be calling director of nursing. If anything happens to me in meantime I will hold this nurse accountable. I will get her name!!

As much as I hate hospitals, there was a nurse named Tahlia on last night that had to take my blood. I'm terrified of needles and she made it a bare able experience. She was so gentle and quick, I didn't actually feel it. Highly recommend her for any blood work, I didn't cry or scream which is a first.

Waited 9 HOURS to be seen.. 2 weeks prior I had major surgery and the incision was burning and infected had multiple health professionals tell me to go to emergency and apparently they “fast tracked” me but It was still 9 hours! the wait times are ridiculous and they are very unorganised, have no sense or urgency and trying to get things done they just take their time I’ve never been so disappointed I will never be back ever!

Jesus Christ you can't even help out a baby that's in pain and agony, takes Ryan's Rule to cement a proper practice of conduct. You are an absolute joke and a stain on our healthcare system. Your lack of compassion by nurses who earn 75k on median and doctors who earn 150k on median is whats wrong with our hospitals. I'm sick to death of the lack of empathy within hospitals. You need to reform now!!! Before it's too late d*ckheads.
