Enjoyable day out for the family. Content seemed a bit underdeveloped.. are there going to be more exhibits in future? Kids enjoyed the racecar building. Staff all very personable and friendly. The craft workshops looked great. Cafe food was nice. Aside from the evolutionary references the planetarium experience was otherwise great. Price was quite reasonable for a family given the amount of time we had there.

We visited the hive to hear kit hiller talk about her art. The talk was very interesting and the sections that were open (reception/retail/museum/gallery) were great. Will definitely return.

This place is new, it will take time to develop.Incredible building and space, with so much potential. The kids STEM centre is pretty good fun, and my kids enjoyed it for a good hour or so.Finding the northwest wood turning society was a great surprise, and they look like they have a great workshop within the centre. The history museum that previously resided here has been taken away for proper archiving and recording. I asked about it as I felt the current showing was extremely minimalist and need to be a better reflection of the previous collection. Apparently there will be a rotation of displays. We found the pricing to be reasonable for a family (about $20) I thinkI am unable to comment on the planetarium, but I am excited to experience soon.I feel this place is a great start but will require some time and further experiences to really find itself and feel like a not to miss experience.

This community centre is amazing! I wish I had something like this back where I'm from. They have an amazing space to create art work and a wonderful wood workshop. The people were really friendly and welcomed us in to have a look around. They also have things for sale that community members have made. The women at the visitors centre were wonderful as well and helped us plan our next leg of our trip.We stopped by the cafe for coffee and scones and they were delicious.I wish we could have stayed longer and seen some of the other things they have here such as the planetarium and the science and art exhibits. We are so impressed, thanks for having us.

Great place to visit. Wonderful little cafe, and gift shop. Loved the science centre. Gallery was terrific and can't wait to go back to see the planetarium. Also has archives and helps with people wanting to explore genealogy. Visitor centre as well with staff being very informative with local attractions.
