A beautiful rain forest in the the botanical garden. Massive collection of trees. Free admission. A very good place to learn about trees and plants in rain forest.

If you haven’t experienced a tropics environment, this is the place to! You will feel like you’re walking through a rainforest that is carefully taken care of. The work put into this location is amazing. Props to the team, you selected a great variety of plant life and arranged it in a seamless way. You could walk in here, sit down and enjoy the sounds of nature.. even when it’s pouring rain outside! If you’re from North Queensland, this will feel just like home!

If you are really interested in plants then it's a good place for an afternoon side trip whilst in the botanic gardens but I didn't see many new or unusual plants. The structure is nice and the layout is very easy to get through but I feel like a lot of people would walk through in 5 minutes and be done. Not many orchids for a tropical environment but I suppose the focus is Australian tropical

Massive amount of plants in the building. Quite humid in there compared to outside, I assume it’s to replicate the ambient temp and humidity of the environment that the plants came from. There’s a small pond with some fish in it and some lily pads on top. There isn’t many flowers there though. I would definitely recommend the place though as there’s a lot to see.

A truly amazing rainforest that conserves and homes many different species of plants. The feeling is truly as if you are being inside a forest. At both entrances/exists you have boards explaining the necessity of having rain forests, their job in the environment etc. Inside the conservatory the plants are named and tagged in an interesting manner. I suggest families to visit this place with kids cause it’s such a calm and educative place. This place is free of charge to visit.
