The DOGroom

I am always extremely pleased when I pick up my two fur babies from The Dog Room. Their full groom is wonderfully done and Lovely & Lilly always look forward to a day at the parlour. Self care for my dogs.

I love the DOGroom: I can book online and drop Louie off on the way to work. Reception staff are welcoming and friendly, to both myself and my fur baby.Louie receives a wash, dry and nail trim… and comes home looking gorgeous.Highly recommend.Book in advance as they are popular!!

Ended up stressing my dog out so much, then got a phone call from the groomer saying my dog was sick to then pick him up to then be accused of bringing a him in with parvo and told to take him to the vet asap and let the groomer no if it is parvo so they can clean the facility. I took him to the vet and was told he must have been put through a lot as he was extremely stressed and anxious! Would not recommend

After leaving this review we were offered a full refund of $91 for the groom my dog received. We had a very bed experience with the DOGroom, if it were possible to give no stars we would. We were looking for a groomer since our regular had moved states. Firstly we rang to book an appointment on the 27th of February and we were told our long hair Mini Foxy x Chihuahua (Gracie) would be booked in for the 10th of March. We arrived on the 10th of March only to be told that our dog was not booked and and the only appointment they could see was the 10th of February. We told them that that would not be possible as we had rung on the 27th of February. We did not get an apology all they said was “we are not sure why that would happen”. We were then offered an appointment on the 13th of March which we accepted. When we dropped Gracie off we showed them pictures of how her previous groomer cut her hair. She was dropped off in the morning and collected later in the day. While picking her up the staff were quite rude. The total cost of the “full groom” was $91. According to the sheet they completed, they gave her a bath, trimmed and plucked her ears, did a full body and sanitary are trim, trimmed her nails, checked her teeth and trimmed her paw pads. Gracie’s ear were trimmed extremely uneven in certain spots and not touched at all in others. Her coat trim is extremely uneven and is showing up worse as it is growing out. She was shaved very close near her legs so much so that she had five small cuts between her legs. Her nails were trimmed unevenly and Gracie now has a black nail which she did not have before her appointment. They trimmed her tail a small amount but did not cut the hair properly so she has a handful of long hairs and shorter hairs. Her paw pads are shaved so short there was basically no hair left. Her teeth were dirty when we dropped her off and picked her up so we are not sure what the dental check did. They wrote a comment saying she was a good dog once she was out of the cage. Our overall experience with the DOGroom was not positive at all and we will not be taking Gracie back or recommending them to anyone.

Nice staff but really bad groom considering the price. Our border collie wasn't deshedded properly or cut well enough to remove most of the hair in areas that get matted easily like we asked. Definitely not worth the money we paid, could've done a better job at home.

Was good they’d bath, trim, cut nails, clean ears and teeth. When I picked up my dog he was bathed and maybe had his fur brushed and that’s about it. Paid about $80 for them to bath my dog.

Very easy to get an appointment and a variety of options to suit your pooch. Only thing is they prefer your dog to be there from the morning even if they don’t groom until later in the day which suits if you’re going to be at work, and seems dogs are still allowed to have a bit of a play with each other if they’re regulars and known to be friendly. My dog hates being bathed in general so I can’t say if it’s super nice compared to other places but she definitely isn’t upset or distressed so I’m confident she is well looked after (if only she’d stop rolling in dead fish!). Good place for a professional clean at a reasonable price and wait-time.

Rip offThe new extras pricing is ridiculous.One visit they say how good the dog is (poodle), the next visit they say it’s difficult and needed a muzzle and charged an extra $25.
