Walked in today for a look and found the staff very helpful & friendly. Store is well laid out & everything well presented. Great range and pricing appears very competitive. Impressive 7 day opening hours as well. Will definitely go back soon to purchase requirements for our new kitten.

This is my first place to visit when I need to get something for my fish. I'm new in taking care of fish and I got help from the staff here. They helped me to find the right items (filter, aerator etc) for our aquarium, tips on how to take care of the fish fry, etc. Not many varieties of fish there, may be because it was during their stock taking time.

Where is the zero rating star? It should be awarded to the most psychotic and rude customer assistant I ever encountered: Sarah at Animal Tuckerbox in Murray street, Hobart.She does not have the basic manners and intellect.Here is the story; I went to the counter with some budgie seed and millet packs, and asked Sarah to tell me what type of seeds were in the brown packet.Sarah said ‘just seeds’ and that she could not open the pack so I asked to speak to her colleague who seems more knowledged.Her colleague arrived and was trying to tell me what was inside the package, when the psycho Sarah started to rip the pack with her nails.Then blaming me for ripping the pack. Such hilarious scene!I told her I would not rip a pack with my fingers as there is a better way to do with scissors... There is no stopping Sarah the cleva! She decided to take a pair of scissors and cut the paper! Then told me to leave the shop... which I did very happily. Who will want to buy from a paycho, ignorant and incompetent.

Great service as well as various type of products for dog, cat, goat, bird, fish etc.Went there buying puppy's treat and staff recommended the one I was looking for
