Had an amazing day on Green Island/GBR day. Fantastic staff and very well organized. Would highly recommend this. The semi sub was really fun !Thanks to the staff for being so kind and courteous while people were vomiting from sea sickness.

We booked two tours: Great Barrier Reef Adventure and the Green Island Discovery Tour. Both were exceptional.Different crew on both days who were professional, friendly, informative and helpful with a great team spirit.The GBR Adventure was slick and well organised.Green Island was more laid back.Neither tour felt crowded despite the number of visitors on the respective catamarans.Thanks to all concerned.

Most magical day and experience we’ve ever had! Green island and Pontoon tour in the Great Barrier Reef was absolutely spectacular. The semi submersible sub was pretty unreal seeing all the fish and reef and could have snorkelled all day. The buffet provided was so bloody good and the staff aboard the cruiser were fantastic. Thanks for the best day! Definitely recommend this day trip!

This was my first trip to the outer reef and it did not disappoint! I have been on 2 other snorkelling tours of the inner reef, which I won't do again after being out there. We went to Moore Reef Pontoon where we enjoyed a buffet lunch, and informative fish feeding talk and semi-submersible tour. It was amazing to swim with Wally, the Maori Wrasse. My 8yo son loved the underwater observatory also as he didn't get into the water. Note the semi-submersible is air conditioned so I recommend being warm going into it; our tour was fairly quiet so that may be less noticeable if it was packed.By far, the highlight of my trip was the guided snorkelling tour - a paid optional extra. I was not comfortable exploring too far from the pontoon by myself so I booked the tour. My guide, Phil, was the best and extremely knowledgeable. There is so much diversity in the reef! I was lucky to see the coral nursery and learn about the coral regeneration work happening in the area. Thanks Phil!If I had more time on my holiday I would've gone out with them again!I recommend going in the quieter season as we could do everything we wanted to do. If you do go in peak seasons, be sure to book activities etc ahead.Note: underwater photo is through observatory window hence why it isn't as clear.

Very well organized trip by Great Adventure. Over all it was very nice experience at green island and outer Great Barrier Reef as well.Snorkeling guide, Jun, is a great trainer. He knows how to guide beginners & be little patient with them.He showed me step by step how to use the snorkeling gears and made sure I am able to snorkel comfortably. He explained safety measures & gave different solutions/ resources and made sure I am able to enjoy the snorkeling journey at Great Barrier Reef. Jun was very enthusiastic & gave information about so many corals. It was amazing to see & touch the corals without fear.I don’t have regrets of spending $72 for the snorkeling because of experienced guide like Jun.

Great day out enjoyed going to both Green island and reef-great crew and organisation only negative was the food which wasn’t good as well as the majority of photos taken by photographer but did give us a laugh. Would definitely recommend this trip but encourage those who get sea sick to take a tablet if windy.Take a jacket for indoor use as it gets chilly and enjoyed Scooba-doo!

Beautiful boat with plenty of seats. Very friendly staff who always provides service with smile on their face. All seats have sea sickness bag. They sell island activities package on board along with camera for hire. Staffs are always available and they proactively keep an eye on people who might show signs of sea sickness and offer icecubes for distraction. No outdoor seating area available.

Luckily enough to be part of an Outer Reef and Green Island tour with Great Adventures. The staff were integral, highly professional, extremely friendly and helpful throughout the full journey from start to finish. We had some rough seas on our journey out, the staff were always around to help, provide reassurance and guidance. Could not ask for a better tour provider - highly recommend. Thank you for the memories that we'll have for a life time!!
