I would highly recommend John Toner and Scobie McIntosh for any repair works on cast iron / wrought iron fences. I asked John to help replace a number of spear heads and fix a badly damaged gate on my Paddington Terrace, it was clear from first speaking with John that he is highly knowledgeable when it comes to these fences and how they tend to wear. John explained very clearly what the issues could be and their cost and following his visual inspection only repaired what was damaged (rather than replace things for the sake of it). I am extremely pleased with result following their repairs and will continue to use their services into the future where required.

I bought a heritage outdoor bench and had it custom made for my wedding as a centerpiece. The boys here did such amazing work, no job is too small. The detail in the work is perfect and they made sure it looked 100% for my wedding. I had only a few days to have this done before my wedding day and they ensured I had a happy bride. In the process of renovating my Paddington Terrace I needed to repair the hinge on my cast-iron gate whilst retaining as much of the original heritage as possible. I was fortunate to come across John at Scobie McIntosh during an internet search. His knowledge and passion was obvious from our first conversation and and the care and detail of workmanship was of a high standard.
