We purchased the 3 door bench fridge from FED for our new business and found the team at FED exceptional, especially our sales rep Mario who was more than helpful with product knowledge and customer service. Will definitely be using them in the future for all our equipment needs.

we purchased a under bench commercial freezer and it last only 1.5 years the evaporator has problem, FED recommended a company to inspect and quote for us, charged us more than 2000 dollars but can’t find the exact problem, wasting my money and time, very rubbish quality and after sale service, don’t buy from them my friends if you can see this.

Excellent supplier of quality commercial kitchen equipment. Couldn’t manage our commercial interstate work without the reliability of this business and the service they provide.

brand new tropical freezer compressor failed after 9 month, got fixed under warranty, compressor failed again 13 months later, the only help that i got is the phone number of their tech who did repair the first time, the tech told me that he couldn't help me and to call somebody else, I call FED again and they didn't care about my situation brand new hi tech freezer with 2 major failures in just under 3 years" no apologies

Do NOT buy anything from this company! Their warranties are a scam! If you read all the negative reviews they say the same thing. We bought a new gas fryer and it caught fire where the valves are 3 months after we purchased it. We went back to where we bought it and got it fixed through the warranty. We received it a month later and the second time we went to use it, the same thing happened. We were advised to talk directly to FED. We did and their correspondence was rude, condescending and unprofessional! They will NOT replace or repair and find any reason not to do help you and blame you for any fault. First they told me that the unit was out of warranty and mentioned a completely incorrect purchase date which shows me that they have NO clue what they’re doing. I told them they were not complying with consumer law and their reply was and I quote:“Please stop with your Legal advice, we have been selling commercial Appliances in Australia for 50 years and we comply with Australian Consumer law in every way.”The service coordinator who said the unit was over 12 months was Christine Olivas who obviously doesn’t know what they are doing because we had already sent the tax invoice showing it was within the warranty period. The other one is Stela Paner who sent that condescending email that I quoted above but from what I’ve been told they go through the National service manager for FED who is Robert Russell and he’s a nightmare to deal with! Absolutely disgusting service! We are putting through a complaint with the ACCC

Don’t buy FED made products. They are consumer made products sold to commercial business.I have a sandwich fridge by FED that has frozen on all sides. Anything that sits on the bottom shelf, or near any of the walls, soils. I’m told this is normal for this fridge. (Images below).I also have a grill which uses a single gas element to heat. It does not get hot enough to grill burgers or steak.My freezer spent 3 months rising above 5 degrees each morning. I was told this was normal. It took a call to the ACCC business to business complaint line for them to come out and essentially replace all the components.Oven has been replaced for faulty insulation causing water to short the computer inside (it was replaced without hassle).The only product that FED has supplied that has been working consistently since we bought it less then 12 months ago, is our deep fryer.Don’t buy FED. Buy commercial, proper commercial, not just advertised commercial.

If you are not desperate don't purchase anything from this company.3 months ago I purchased a hot bar and a cold bar display fridge from FED through a builder. Both the equipment were leaking water from the first week. After sending out three differant service men they decided to change the hot bar which was faulty and repaired the cold bar fridge. After three months the cold bar is leaking again impacting on my business causing a hazard. After calling for two days I managed to get through to a Dean who now has resigned. I got passed on to someone who assured me that they will send a service person during my quite time instead he came at a busy time on a different day. When I asked him to come back he refused forced his way in to my business then advised me that the fridge motor compartment is out and that's due to something I'm doing. This company sells faulty goods that does not suit Australian climate.I received a call from a Michael a manager in the service department who was extremely rude and hang up on me.Since then I have complained to the department of fair trade to get refund. If you are not desperate I do not recommend this company.

I purchased a brand new FED freezer on March 1st 2021 for our business in South Australia and got to our Cellar Door and it did not work. I rang tech support and followed their instructions and they said i need a tech out to fix it. FED would not send a tech out to a brand new customer with a brand new freezer that did not work from the start unless i signed an agreement with a whole range of exclusions that said i could be charged for (on the brand new 3 hour old freezer). I completely disagreed to sign this given the unit was 3 hours old, i had spent $2600 on it and their own tech support said i needed a tech out to fix this. The customer service of this place from my experience is absolutely pathetic, and i will never purchase another one of FED equipment again. As a customer you should not be held to ransom to sign a form that you completely disagree with on a brand new piece of equipment that does not work from the first moment to be able to get it fixed! The only way a tech eventually came out 30 hours later was because the catering supply company i purchased this from ( Who are great people) took on the responsibility of signing these forms to ensure it was resolved for me. FED should have done that. On top of this, there was screws holding down the condenser missing (which the tech fixed), as well as a bolt on the compressor loose, which still is loose as the tech who came out said it must have been crossed threaded from the factory as the captive nut just spins. In my experience, this company does not deserve 1 star, and the customer service does not either. From my experience i would Proceed with absolute caution, or even better, go somewhere else. i will update my review if anything changes to be fair to everyone.

Instead of a grill F.E.D sent me 3 kitchen sinks. I was assured the correct item would be dispatched immediately and the courier would pick up the sinks when he dropped off my grill.They picked up the sinks the next day but my grill did not arrive. They hadn't send it at all and several phone calls later i leared they are retrieving my goods rather than just sending another grill as promised. It may take another week or so. The many bad reviews they have are well deserved i feel

I purchased a two door bench fridge, and I am very happy. The price was good and it looks and works great. I dealt with the sales person Mario he was great and very patient as I changed my mind a dozen times haha. He even followed up a few months after I bought it just to make sure I was happy, I would definitely recommend!!!
