The Ville Resort-Casino
I enjoyed the atmosphere, service, drinks and food that I had tonight. It was nice to sit outside overlooking the pool and out to the ocean and Magnetic Island. The servers were friendly and food was of good quality, and well portioned. The price while I thought a little high, was in fairness, pretty good considering the overall surroundings and service offered.I'll go again and take fronds visiting Townsville there as well.

Was not too impressed with the front counter 4:30 pm Friday.Saturday at 1:30 a totally differen story. An older lady was awesome.Meal at the wedding was ordinary.

The resort is beautiful and has great facilities (swim up pool bar is one of the best I’ve seen). The food in the Quarterdeck is pub style but great potions and delicious (I had the Parma). The only thing is the service around the tables could be better (plates cleared away faster, that sort of thing). It just detracted from the environment a little.

Great hotel to stay in. Great view of magnetic Island and the coast line. Pool is amazing with great views. Good staff particularly ?Jane at reception, the porters, and the housekeeping who always accommodated requests with a smile. We loved your hotel and staff and would definitely stay here again.

We went to the buffet on a Thursday night which was Italian night.Any real Italian would NEVER dine there. The Bolognaise sauce was out of a jar, there was no herbs, no flavour at all. Only 2 types of pizza, 3 pastas. There was no saltimbucca, no parmigiana.. nothing that you'd expect then to have.We will never go back.

Quarterdeck has nice tasting food but considering there is no table service I think it is overpriced for what you get. The pizza is small. My $19 entree of calamari was supposed to be spicy - it was not and it was very small for the price. My husband complained his food (pizza and burger with fries) was cold. We won't go back to this eatery.

Went there for breakfast and it sucked. $30 dollars per head. Less than basic selection, no sausages, powdered eggs, scratched and damaged plates, jars for drinking glasses, cheap orange juice. Not good at all. This is at the Ville casino. We'll never recommend it to anyone or go back again. Absolute rip-off. This place needs to seriously lift its game big time. Don't go there if your looking a good breakfast with great selection.

Beautiful venue with slightly dated decor. Excellent service, friendly staff, tasty meals. Rooms are a good size with windows that open. Comfortable bed and bedroom furniture.

Being someone who spends well when visiting Miss Song's, the last few visits have become poor on the service side. We have noticed that the waiters are not trained to the standard that they once were. No topping water, poor product knowledge, no extra rounds of drinks, meals forgotten on order, drinks forgotten, then when asked how long are the rest of our drinks the waiter replied someone forgot to put them through when he was the one who took the order. Look, I'll definitely be back because I love the duck, but my patience will run out if this continues to happen, I'll take my colleagues and money elsewhere.

Beautiful spot for a bite to eat and a cold drink. The pool with swim up bar is inviting and the view is stunning. Service was friendly and fast and the whole venue was beautifully clean and comfortable.
