I found STA engineering to be very competitive with pricing and they were quick to complete the engineering design i was after for a retaining wall.

Sounds great , but the project is still stopped, and we are still not working together but against each other. I understand your are angry and so am I, so let's talk and work it out for both of our sakes. A simple phone call could have and still can get the project unstopped. We beg to disagree on some key points but at the end of the day we still do not have what we need, and genuinely believe we have been overbilled. Re the credit card fees, that is not so important, but I will say this your invoice does not mention them, or warn of them like we do for our customers. We we rushed that payment through so there was no delay and here we are weeks later still unable to give the certifier what he needs. We send a RFI from the certifier that needed addressing , and yes the original design did not reference the mitigation report which was my error in not realizing you needed it. But then we asked for a quote for the slab design specifically in relation to this mitigation report , under the same job number mentioned that the previous work had to reference the mitigation report as well. We followed this up with a phone call and talked about it in some detail. We followed this up with a do you have everything you need email and was told yes. But still as far as I can tell the certifiers request has not been addressed. We were billed billed as a separate job some time after.to do what we have already asked for a quite for. I paid this as it was not worth arguing. But as far as I can see, we still do not have anything that makes it clear to the certifier that this issue has been addressed. We just need a letter saying the designs take into account the mitigation report, or the mitigation report mentioned on the designs. These seem to be communication errors, and I apologize for my part in them, but we have tried and often get no response, even before the falling out. I can not begin to express the pain this delay is causing us. This development is critical to our business. So disappointed with the service, our project is critically delayed, beware the non-disclosed credit card charges, and don't expect them to read what you have sent them. You just get ignored. It would have taken just a little thought and one covering note to save the deadline for our project but they couldn’t be bothered. Do expect to be ignored and charged twice for something you already have paid for. What happened to STA? When did you stop caring about your customers. We could have been a valuable client.

Quick and easy to deal with, from quote to appointment and completion of soil report (with limited site access), it was a very easy process with good communication. Very straight forward and reasonably priced.
