My favourite fish and chips in Melbourne.The chips are definitely very good, but it's the light, crispy batter they make that really stands out. The potato cakes are delicious, hand cut and battered. Most of the seafood has the same batter.We all look for something different from a Chippie joint, but I've never been disappointed here. It's consistently good, never greasy or oily, so check it out if you get the chance to see if it's a good fit for you.

Good little Fish & Chip shop, tucked away in the middle of Heidelberg shopping precinct (Burgundy St). Young guy who served me was friendly, prices are very competitive, plus ample parking behind store if none available out front (on Burgundy St). Open Sundays too, which is good. I also appreciate how these guys don't force you to buy $6 of minimum chips (like some F&C shops). They have $2.50 (junior/kids), $3.50 (small), $5.00 (medium = equivalent to standard minimum chips), plus large. Only slight was that the hamburger was just okay.

A good solid 4 Star hamburger, with the meat properly cooked. I eat here regularly so the standard is reliable. In the context of my journeys to buy hamburgers at three other hamburger places, where the meat was raw in the middle, this was a pleasant surprise. The business owners work hard and prepare a fine burger, and I am glad to have found this as my new favorite fast food shop. The fish and chips are also great quality, and I recommend that meal also.

Grilled King George Whiting was tiny, full of bones and over priced - I could barely eat it. Potato Cakes were crispy but oily. Won’t be going back.

Decided to drop in after reading the reviews. I was not disappointed. Friendly service and most important, the fish was cooked well and batter was not too thick and stayed crispy. Potato cakes was delicious. Didn't get any chips so can't say.

Perfect in frying fish, chips, calamari, seafood stick, potato cake, dimsim, etc.The staff are wearing masks which is very important at this time.Good place to get dinner for family and friends.
