I have used Paul from the Airtight Site business for the last three months.He was recommended to highly by another web professional for what I needed.I initially contacted about five developers to finish an unfinished website and get it up to scratch to use for my business in every area.Out of the five Paul was the fastest to reply with a basic ballpark quote, setup an initial meeting to look at the options and fastest to respond when we decided to go with him. No other developer responded with the enthusiasm and clarity that he did.His communication set him apart for me after dealing with many developers who were not responsive, sometimes for months at a time.From the start I was amazed at his speed of response to questions and performing the tasks on my task list to get the website finished correctly.Numbers of times he went way beyond my expectation with initiative in sorting out issues with the website’s backend setup and structural issues.He was also very fast to focus on the way the website worked to get sales and follow through from visitors, and potential customers.Pauls background in the sciences, as well as running his own creative business as a professional photographer, meant he had a lot of organisational experience and intention with his approach.Selling images as part to my business (in a shop) benefited greatly from his professional insight in that area as he also sold similar products as part to his photography business.So not only was he switched on to the aesthetics of a website, but his real focus was on it as part of a business making each page work to get a result. His approach is very much getting sales or results from the website. Not just the look of it.He is also focused very much on security, and robustness, of a website which was an unusual focus for a developer in my experience. Yet another thing setting him apart.This was very refreshing as after dealing with over 10 developers in the past twenty years this was a first to have someone so focused on that end of things.Overall, for the budget (which unfortunately was very restricted), and the time we had to get things completed, I can only say Paul was an absolute dream to deal with.And he was upfront on costs, and what could be done for those costs. No hidden surprises.The key things for me were his speed to communicate in all areas, when tasks were completed, when things needed to be decided and advice in areas like plugin management etc.After dealing with many developers who were slow to even respond, or show any initiative, he was an absolute dream.After the work done by Paul my website is now working 100% better in every area of presentation, functionality, improved flow for the user and value as far as content promotion.As a professional he was very helpful, supportive, and informative. Not to mention patient when it came to educating me on areas, I needed education in.I cannot recommend him enough.I wish him well with his business and work. As from my experience of having websites for over 24 years he is an absolute standout.
