Good to set aside this space for wildlife but the vegetation appears degraded. There is a main path that runs through the area with information signs. It's pleasant enough, but no beauty spot.

Good for a morning or evening stroll around the pond. There is a nice grassed area for the dog or kids to have a run. You can watch the ducks and other waterbirds. I even spotted a few tortoises. Off to the side you'll see, hear and smell the local bat population, roosting in the tree tops. There are some hight power lines that pass through the area.it's across the road from a local Cafe so you could grab a coffee. Also close to sporting grounds and there is a public toilet just up the hill heading towards Ruthven Street.
