Love this place! Extremely friendly and super helpful staff that go beyond their way to help you out and ensure you have the right piece of hardware or product for your needs no matter how difficult your project is. Very happy with the service to say the least. Staff on the floor are also full of helpful tips and suggestions. Very knowledgeable easy going friendly staff that make this my favourite stop over in Yass. I won't go elsewhere.

I was looking for assistance regarding painting my home. The assistance I got was excellent. Knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I was very impressed by the staff member who served me. Prices are reasonable. There was a shortage of a particular type of paint that I required, but that maybe an issue more related to Covid rather than any shortcoming of this store.

All I wanted was 3 x 5.4m timber mouldings... I usually buy this at Bunnings and it costs less than $40.... Yass Home Timber and Hardware was going to charge me $60+ for the same items. I really hate being ripped off because I live in a small town and it's the only hardware available.Interestingly.... they don't have their timber prices displayed in store, they charge by the metre, but they expect you to buy the entire length!!! Prices for timber are not on the website either.Not impressed!!!!

The girl at the front counter would rather continue to argue about the price than go and have a look. I usually have a good experience at this store, today was the exception.

This is an amazing store with so much to offer. Convenient parking right at the door in a central location in town. Large range of tools and supplies for every construction or farming need. Good prices too so you won't feel ripped off after a visit here. Right next to a pizza shop and supermarket for a one stop trip into town.
