Well worth a visit only floating wharf around. Lovely park with BBQ play and exercise equipment adjacent. The view of the mighty Murry loverly. Convenience rooms clean . If possible a night view is wonderful as the area is has lighting and also the Koondrook- Barham bridge at sunset is not to be missed.

A lot of money has been spent on this piece of infrastructure by the Gannawarra shire.Cant wait for this project to be fully implemented. I believe a dedicated paddle steamer will operate from the wharf as well as other tourist events and opportunities.Watch this space. Check out this part of the world you can participate in lots of water and forest activities here. Make sure you visit the sawmill too.Trev Powis Australia

I'm told that there is great fishing here, but I've tried to catch fish on two separate occasions and haven't managed to land anything yet. My rating might go up if I actually manage to catch something. Despite the lack of fishing success, it's a nice place to spend a couple of hours on the water, with decent conveniences nearby.

The old wharf at Koondrook probably was pulled down years ago when it deteriorated and became unsafe. The new wharf is really a glorified pontoon. It has a viewing platform across the Murray River.The large construction is quite impressive and there must have been grants given to pay for it.

An impressive pontoon, beautiful spot to sit and watch the river. Bring a snack and a coffee from across the river in Barham.
