My partner has made a review above listing reasons for their bad review.Service we received was dishonest and feels unfair given the positive reviews about Michelina Lawson Catering and photos provided on their website.Did not receive what we agreed on (catering for 70 guests). We paid $1900+ and only 1 in 3 guests had eaten. Which is not acceptable considering we actually had less than 70 people attend our Wedding. Our cake/ desert provider was asked to provide Michelina Lawson Catering with decorations on the day, we have asked to view a breakdown of cost of food provided as I'm left confused with what we actually paid for but have received no reply as yet.I'm a reasonable person- I can appreciate decorations but that was not provided to the agreed/ advertised standard, as mentioned above they actually asked for some from our family who made cakes and desserts. Service was unprofessional due to reasons mentioned above. The food was enjoyed by the few people who did eat, but there was (guests estimate) $600 worth of food. So I am left wondering what we actually paid for given it wasn't cheap and more expensive than other options we had, honestly I feel fooled.

We've used Michelina twice. Once for my granddaughter's engagement party and my wife's 80th birthday. She's just wonderful and team are great. Nothing is an issue for them. The food is just wonderful. She makes her dishes taste so delicious and fresh! This old chook can certainly eat her food everyday!

Michelina is amazing and I would recommend her without any hesitation. Her food is fresh and tasty, her prices are very reasonable and most importantly Michelina is an absolute pleasure to have around. We'll surely be requesting her services again in future.

I hired Michelina to do my wedding. I requested a grazing board for 65 adults and 11 children. Upon meeting Michelina was lovely and professional and seemed confident in providing me the service I wanted. Promising decorations for my rustic wedding and a separate table for kids with decorations. I even have this in an email.What I got was nowhere near what I paid for. I got three balloons for the kids table, awful colours. The tables were not decorated, except for excess amounts of popcorn and pretzels. (More popcorn and pretzels than actual substantial food.) She actually asked our cake caterer for her decorations.There was a change of circumstances due to weather and our ceremony had to be moved inside. They made an inappropriate amount of noise distracting from our ceremony. The food itself lasted less than half an hour, where a grazing bored you would expect to last over a few hours. Our guests actually left our wedding to go get food missing out on speeches and our first dance. Some of them didn't even return. Our family members got complaints and questions about the food throughout the night, taking away from our special day and creating stress that we did not need. My wife and I didn't even get to eat on the day except for our cakes which lasted all night and we still have left overs the next day of the cakes.When Michelina was spoken to about it by our mother inlaw, she said that our dog had eaten a substantial amount of food off the table. Our dog is well trained and has never eaten food off a table, and he was with us during the ceremony and followed us to our photos after the ceremony. So there is no way that this could of happened.She did not say goodbye, or clean up after herself, nor did she close up our house where she was prepping the food. Michelina offered a $500 refund and we requested a sit down meeting. When I emailed her about the refund she did not even reply to this email and just transferred the funds.As she says food is meant to bring people together, and on our wedding day it did the opposite. Absolutely appalled.

Michelina recently provided myself and one of my staff members with lunch.I have to say, it was delicious! I'll definitely be using her for my next major event that needs catering (my birthday perhaps). Thanks Michelina.

I have known Michelina for quite a few years now;I have experienced multiple times her excellency in the Culinary Art;Being Italian myself, her Pastas in particular are what got me me hooked to her cuisine :-)I can't recommend her enough, I was never disappointed and neither will be you.

Extremely reliable and amazing hand made food! We have used her quite a few times and never failed to impress. Definitely beats any restaurant in Perth. She cooks such beautiful authentic Italian and Mediterranean food. You can tell she puts all the love into everything she cooks just by her presentation. And such a lovely lady and her team just goes beyond the call of duty. Just can't wait to use her again

I could not have found a better caterer for our wedding! Michelina has a knack for creating delicious food morsels.She is flexible and her creations are delicate, ooze freshness and variety, would please even the harshest critic.I cannot recommend her enough!!!
