The Christmas Market

I have purchased things from The Christmas Market since they first opened. Typically, the items that I purchased have been made exclusively for TCM and, mostly, are designed by the young owner of the store. The ceramics are adorable and their throw rugs and pyjamas are great quality…they have been used, washed and dried in the washing machine countless times and still in great condition. The after sales service is wonderful and I usually receive them within a couple of days of purchase, even during peak times. If you’re looking for beautiful, high quality, seasonal pieces that you won’t tire of from seeing them in every store you visit, TCM is a great place for you to start your search.

Such a beautifully displayed shop. It’s just such a shame the price does not reflect the quality of some items. I thankfully purchase some products on sale. Most of which were lovely, but one product in particular I still paid quite a bit for and it came extremely poorly made, nothing like the picture and not from the materials I had thought. I guess that’s the gamble when purchasing online. But when things are advertised for $95 and to be made out of nothing but paper and cardboard I think that’s a little misleading.

Absolutely perfect, magical! Delivered in a timely manner. Given updates for dispatch. Arrived beautifully packed with a free gift. I was excited to received my purchase, excited to open it and was not disappointed.. highly recommend ✅✅✅✅✅

Amazing service! Super friendly, responsive and quick shipping. As a personal aside some more faith based items would be very cool but otherwise such great products! Would 10/10 recommend.

This beautiful christmas tree topper arrived from ‘The Christmas Market’ today and I am thrilled with it, it has a beautiful soft gold lustre and it truly looks like a European antique. I was lucky enough to buy it while on sale, keep an eye out for beautiful things selling outside of the season ! Siannon is a little bundle of joy and I sincerely recommended her beautiful trinkets and excellent customer service. I Can’t wait to see ´Spooky’ Halloween in the coming months xx

I’ve purchased 11 times with The Christmas Market, however I will never purchase again with my last experience.The customer service is completely lacking and they fail to have competency with their product intake as previously I’ve had several items refunded as ‘they miscounted their products and has insufficient amounts’I’ve had two issues being:I purchased a sign which arrived damaged. I had to keep following up via Instagram and email requesting and update for a return label to be sent so I could return the parcel and receive a replacement sign. Over a week past and still nothing, I followed up again and as soon as I received the return label I posted the item and forwarded confirmation to The Christmas Market with the reference number. Good management would keep this item aside so they can fulfill the purchase. I received confirmation from Australia Post the item was received, I looked online and 3 signs were still in stock – I waited over a week and no reply or shipping email to confirm this was posted – I followed up again and this was my reply:HI ThereYes it was apologies for the delayWe have searched high and low in the warehouse and unforauntely we do not have another bakery sign to replace yours.We had a very close look at it and to be honest the little mark could be touched up with a little sand and some red paint, it kind of adds to the vintage nature of the sign!So we can send it back with your outstanding order 44067 with the berries if you like?Sorry – but why would I want to pay full price for something that is damaged to then have to sand back and repaint to fix is beyond me?Secondly, I received damaged items where the berry sprays were missing berries. The Christmas Market stated this was damaged caused by Australia Posts and to seek reimbursement with them. I had to send numerous emails and photographs confirming there were no berries in the parcel therefore it was sent and packaged with damaged items. I am still yet to receive these damaged items which were charged to my credit card back in December 2022.Very disappointment with the customer service from this company – perhaps they are only interested in securing a ‘ONE OFF’ customer and not interested in offering any compensation to return customers.I agree with all of the other 1 star reviews – yes this store does have some beautiful items but with the customer service so below standard do your homework and shop around. Sad as I always like to support local family businesses.

I have now bought from the Christmas Market 2x now as I just adore the unique decorations they have in stock. I love the old vintage glass ornament designs and cannot wait to put them up on my tree for Christmas! The countdown is on for sure. They got dispatched really quickly too and no damage done as they were packed in tissue and bubble wrap which was perfect. I also got a free gift with one of my parcels which was a lovely gesture. It was a Christmas planner book, it’s so pretty though I’m nervous to write in it and ruin it ha! Was delivered quite quickly too. So overall experience 10 out of 10. Would happily buy from the Christmas Market again!
