Geoff was professional and easy to talk to. He was very helpful with the unit I purchased, and helped me set it up. It was overall a great experience.

We had a house fire and he beautifully restored our prize family chest and hall stand to way better than before :-)Before that we used him to convert a lovely piece to be a lounge/tv stand with glass fronts.He is now restoring a Jarrah burl for us. Such flexible work.Highly recommended !

Great antiques and vintage shop with a good selection of items to browse. Not sure what the negative reviews are about as the owner was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Will be back to see if we get lucky with what we are looking for. Bonus points for friendly doggo that greets you at the door!

Very rude not to reply or even acknowledge a polite, well intentioned email. I asked politely if it would be possible to send in some high resolution pictures of some items (2) and get an idea if they were anything special. Didn't ask for a valuation, just an indication. No reply after five or six days. Now, reading between the lines he didn't write, I went to the FAQs on the website and there it gives prices for valuations (he charges for verbal evaluations as well, must be very knowledgeable and this is a very valuable skill...).To not reply to a polite email is rude and lazy, since communication in the 20th Century and beyond is now one of the quickest and easiest things someone can do and mostly increases the chance of further business.

I was so looking forward to coming in and have a browse and drop a few pennies however time was constrained after all. The actual space is full of gorgeous antiques, with good prices and I would not take that away from the owner, just a little more light would make the space just right. But next time I will have way more time to browse especially the books.

Needed a table of specific size for my small kitchen - difficult! Geoff was very helpful and added a table top to four William IV antique legs he had in his shop to the exact size I wanted - perfect! I now have something special; well made; none others like it and it was affordable. Thank you Geoff.

Geoff restored two huon pine antiques for us- a dresser and dressing table - that have been in my family since the 1890's. The transformation was incredible. We were absolutely delighted with his work. Geoff knows wood and was so professional in his work and approach to the restoration of these pieces. We would recommend him without hesitation. We now have two beautiful pieces of furniture to enjoy and to eventually pass on to the next generation.

This man agreed to pay $600 for an antique desk from my daughter. He knew the desk was heavy and had to be carried downstairs. He loaded the desk onto his ute and then offered $500 to my daughter. When she said the price was $600 he remarked that if she did not accept the $500 he would dump the desk on the verge.This man is dishonest and not ethical in his dealings with clients. We are absolutely appalled.
