Absolute garbageBeen waiting 6 weeks for the servicemen to come back with the right equipment to check my water damaged bathroom.They came out once, walked in the bathroom and said they’ll need to come back with the right equipment. Still waiting!!!Just do yourself a favour and close the business down.Your work, communication and lack of professionalism is astonishing.Seriously look at the reviews and feedback you guys have! Simply WOW!

After quite a long time line with our insurer, once we finally had works started by Bay Building things went along very well. We particularly liked Darren’s sense or humour, Jacks organizational skills and Carlos the painter. Thanks so much.

worst company I ever had to deal with. Bay building was hired by suncorp for a bathroom renovation as insurance claim. 13 months passed by and they still have completed the job (should only take 2 weeks). In fact the insurance assessor needs to come out once again to review the poor quality. They used terrible subcontractor and changed them several times. Trades people were either nver showing up or entered unanounced the house without notification. Communcation was terrible. Currently the Ombudsman is reviewing this.

Not professional and not responsive. Bay building group set up a day to come and inspect a fallen fence on our property, after taking the day off from work to wait for them - as they only can give a 4 hour time frame of when they will arrive at the property.They never showed.After calling to complain, they said it was not their fault and miscommunication. In which said they would follow up and call back, 2 months later they called back, in which they left a message to call them back.I did so and have been sitting on hold for 45 minutes.Atrocious service. Would not recommend.

Was very happy dealing with Nathan. The tradespeople assigned to my job worked at a very high level, it’s been over 12-months since the works were completed and I have no complaints. Would be happy to deal with them again.

Too bad that my insurance company allocated them. No follow up at all. You will have to chase them. Even when I call have to wait 30 mins to talk to a person. And then get transferred. And then wait again.UPDATE:After another few attempts (phone calls get dropped after 15 minutes and then you are back in the queue) I managed to contact one of them.Very difficult to get information from the case officer as he seems less informed of the case. He is sort of forcing me to go for a cash settlement after waiting all these weeks which I denied. Going to complain to the insurance company about their level of customer service. If your insurance company assign this builder please switch to another asap.UPDATE 24/03/2022:Thanks for the response for my feedback. Not sure why you cannot locate as I used my name in the claim. The claim number is 118400428 if that helps. Btw, your company contacted me on 11/03/2022 after the review. They promised to get the work done by end of March. Fingers crossed.7 weeks since the claim is filed with you and counting. Just to replace two colourbond panels. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.UPDATE 05/04/2022:Finally the panels got replaced. Too much trouble to get it repaired amidst many phone conversations and fake excuses. And the case officer caught red-handed lying to me. :) Anyways, Im relieved that it's done.

Avoid Bay Building at all costs! My insurance company assigned them February 2022, when the damage occurred. 6 supervisors later, here we are at the end of January 2023 and my job is nowhere near finished. They don't answer emails, they don't let you know when you are getting a new supervisor, you can't ever contact the ones they assign because presumably they get rid of them. The whole experience with Bay Building has been dreadful. I will say, that the bit of work they did manage to get done, at least the trades they assigned communicated, got their bit done, and were professional. I believe the problems are internal, and in management. I have even used the contact page on their website out of desperation, and no reply - months ago. Honestly, if your insurer assigns them, demand someone else. Be warned.

We had a great experience. The workers that did the job were polite, punctual and did a good job. They communicated with us when they were turning up a bit later on the day and I thought the whole experience was stress free.

By far one of the worst businesses I’ve had to deal with. From 30-45 minute hold times on phone calls, not returning my calls after I was told I would be called back the next day. Numerous emails trying to get an answer to a simple question on the whereabouts of my window frames that were removed during insurance work, and now it’s been over a month and I haven’t received a reply to my emails and I’m still without my windows in my home.

We were allocated Bay Building Services as the preferred building repair company after we were flooded in October 2022. My insurance company and this organisation were professional and thorough throughout the whole experience. I have been completely overwhelmed by the service, care and professionalism displayed by this company. The tradesmen were helpful courteous and above all, caring in the work performed with our insurance claims.
