Australia Post - St Clair LPO

(Asian lady) Ripped me off. I kindly went up to her enquiring about the incorrect charges on my receipt and she refused to fix her mistake. Blaming me twisting my words saying I said this and that. When I clearly know what I needed. Worst service I have ever experienced!

I was one of those people who grumbled about the rudeness of staff (and the lady in particular) at this PO. Until I was in there a couple of times over the course of a week and customers were screaming at the staff for issues the staff had no control over (for example: the lack of service at a different PO, how fast passport applications are processed, etc.). I have even had to step in when one customer was being horribly racist (Telling the lady to speak english. For the record: she could not have been clearer) and totally unjustified. Just because someone is telling you something you don't like does not give you the right to abuse them. Any wonder these guys become grumpy. I have made an effort to be kind to the staff - after all, I wouldn't like to work in a place where I am regularly harassed by customers. A little bit of kindness and understanding go along way. The staff here ARE lovely, so just be nice and show some kindness. I promise you won't regret it.

Yesterday I went to Auspost st clair for returning a parcel to Amazon. The lady staff told me unfriendly that I needed to print the code by myself, not AusPost. But Amazon explained clearly that AusPost would print it. So, I got someone to print the return code and went back to Auspost. When I was at Auspost again, the lady told me that she was not able to process a return with a return QR code. she needed a bar code. This is nonsense as there was no bar code based on Amazon's return instruction. She was rude, and showed no professional attitude.I left and went to AusPost at St Mary East that the staff processed the return immediately and he informed me that there was no need to print the return QR code as long as I showed through my phone.

St Clair gets a bad rap from some people. I have no idea why. She does a really good job but will not be persuaded to do the wrong thing,Generally I have found reviews are written by the discontented. People who are happy to just get on with their day don’t write reviews. Easy to besmirch someone who can’t answer back. I have seen the people who treat her like a lackey. She is always polite and answers their queries with courtesy. And some of their queries are peculiar to say the least.

(Asian lady) very disappointed with her customer service I had a package send to the post office due a address been change and she told the person that was picking up my order to let me know not to send any of my package there anymore..WTH why would you do your job is to serve people and it's up to me where I want to send my mail..your lucky I didn't come in

On multiple occasions the service that I have received from this post office is atrocious. I've noticed on all my visits here that I have been treated rudely and dismissively, with no respect as a customer or a human. I have observed that the older female employee treats all customers that are of different complexion this way. Whether it be collection deliveries, sending post cards, purchasing stamps; she has always been this way to myself and other customers that I have spoken to. It is unfair as she seems really nice and polite to those of paler skin tones.Watched an exchange between the lady and a customer where she politely told them to take their time, but as she walked over to the another -different coloured- customer, threw their licence and package at them and said Go."To think that in this day and age that this is something that we need to be concerned about from your local post office."

Staff member here unprofessional and a bit confrontational. The lady especially who meant to help me didn’t even try listening what I had to say since I was given instructions from another post office to find my parcel.Very disappointed

My experience here is always bad. The Asian lady is aggressive and rude and told me today when asked if I could use a certain label she did not care. Told me to do whatever I want. She rolls her eyes. She should not be in customer service.

Extremely rude unprofessional and down right disgusting attitude towards customers, do yourself a favour and don't come here use another post office, I can tell by all the reviews I'm not the only one either.. disgusting.

Terrible - contrary to some defending this place. My partner made an honest mistake and purchased the incorrect xl satchel bag with tracking for posting - they did not have the item I wanted for exchange and the store owner (Asian lady) said 'Australia Post does not do returns, if we do this then everyone will be purchasing wrong items and expecting refund'. She said 'only faulty items are accepted for refunds'. I googled the refunds policy and spoke to Australia Post head office and they do not claim this. She was unwilling to discuss the policy and forced me to purchase something else or take the item back. I purchased something so I can get out of there ASAP as she was giving me dirty looks. This lady is obviously money-hungry and is NOT abiding by the business policy. Won't go here again.
