Capital Antipasti-Pizze-Vino
This place got me to enjoy negronis!! Now that’s saying something!We really enjoyed our time at Capital having a great host who had recommendations and wine taste trials for us to choose. The food was filling, as Italian is, but it was the flavours that I personally was impressed by. I enjoyed the lamb!The toffee negroni was an absolute perfect finish to our delicious meal :)

I had 2 x serves of Calamari Fritte and 2 x serves of Spaghetti Marinara white wine butter sauce all for myself because they were so delicious. The boys were supper friendly and make us feel welcome. Definitely will be back again in our next trip to Hobart .

Pleasant atmosphere and great service. Staff were very quick and genuine. Food was quite good also, but quite expensive given the portion sizes. Overall recommended for a dinner in Hobart.

Great looking place and very sharp service but the cotoleta bolognese at $37 was more like a pub meal … not subtle at all…the food didn’t quite come up to the menu description and the decor and price… I am told that breakfast and lunch here are very good… pizza and pasta looked good the subtleties of veal were lost

Great food, great vibes, great people. initially they were fully booked to a walk-in but the older gentleman told us to hold a moment. We were able to get a table!We ordered multiple cocktails, two appetisers - arancini and some sticks with blue cheese (I'm sorry I don't remember the name!!). Gnocchi and pumpkin pizza for the mains.Thanks Capital!

We tried many restaurant on our Hobart getaway and didn’t have that wow experience. However, we were told to give Capital and that it would change our view on Hobart. We were impressed by the quality of the food and the service. The restaurant has a modern and elegant decor, and the menu offers a variety of dishes that are beautifully presented. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and they made sure that our dining experience was enjoyable - we loved it so much on Monday night that we came in for dinner for a second time tonight. A big shout out to Simon who gave us the superstar treatment. We also particularly enjoyed the pasta dishes, which were fresh and perfectly cooked. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Hobart.

When good service is so hard to find these days this restaurant stands out above all others in Hobart. Aaron, Simon and the rest of the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The food is consistently of an excellent standard and the atmosphere is fantastic. We recommend it to everyone.

Capital Antipasti-Pizze-Vino
Lovely atmosphere for a family dinner. Exemplary service, quality ingredients for meals and drinks with excellent gluten free choices that didn’t make us feel like a hassle. Our waitress replaced empty water without prompting which was amazing and organised our starters and mains to come out in a staggered, timely manner. Very good understanding and attentiveness of service, you definitely impressed us and we recommend Capital as a must-visit location in Hobart.
