Klose's Foodland Littlehampton

Nicest place to shop, fantastic variety and friendly staff. Best part of my shop is getting to the check-out. Lovely to see foodland still employing staff to operate the registers.

Good one stop shop

Klose’s is my local. I love the convenience and its range of products, many of which you can’t find in Woollies or Coles. For those that eat meat, I think the butcher at the Littlehampton Foodland is doing a much better job than the major supermarkets in Mt Barker. Don’t expect generous specials or markdowns, but overall prices seem fair to me.My issue is with the generally overpriced and often poor quality fruit and vegetables. I just cut an avocado I bought two days ago and it’s brown in the middle. Too bad because I bought it for a guacamole with tonight’s dinner.A good fruit and veg manager will have a good idea of the freshness of the produce they order and its lifespan.It’s simply not good enough that Klose puts end of life produce in the fresh food section… not to mention offering damaged and decaying produce for 50% off.Please bring your fruit and vegetable section up to standard

Second visit here, thought the first one may have been an aberration, but no. Have never come across staff in a supermarket who strive to be as rude as they are here. Do none of them possess the ability to use “please” and “thank-you”. Was barked at by some officious woman today, “over there!” Directing me to a checkout. A supermarket is only bricks and mortar, it’s the staff who give it character, so far it’s come across as a house of horrors. Although my new local I will drive elsewhere, there is no way this place gets another cent of my money. Sorry won’t fix it either, there needs to be some serious discussions about attitude here.

My local store of choice. A large selection of products for a small town supermarket and is stocked with all the essentials. Very conveniently opened until late, I am frequently able to shop here in time to make myself dinner. Additionally, I have lived in Littlehampton for years and the staff here have always been lovely.The prices tend to be somewhat more expensive than competitor supermarkets over in Mt Barker, however there are often good specials on if you look for them. My only complaint is with the fresh fruit and veg. It's not uncommon for old/questionable produce to be left on the shelves, and you will often have to sort through to find produce with no dents, bruises or blemishes. I had to do this with the tomatoes just yesterday. However, a staff member seemed to be replacing fresh produce as I was sorting through, so it is likely I just so happened to be there as the food was at its oldest. My point still stands, though.All in all, a great store. I have been shopping here for years and will continue to do so. Oh yeah, the butcher and meat also tends to be very good quality here, which is always a big plus. Thank you Foodland :)

Very big shop - good range

Lots of very familiar Australian items gone missing. No hand sanitisers (empty) just as Winter hits. Very disappointed recently.

The family and I absolutely love how friendly and helpful the staff are. And it had always been well stocked with the things that we need.

I've been here a few times and have always been able to find everything I need. The produce selection is particularly impressive, with a wide range of fresh fruits and vegetables. I've also been impressed by the customer service, which is always friendly and helpful. The only downside is that some items can be a little expensive, but overall, I would definitely recommend this Foodland to anyone looking for a good local supermarket.
