It has been a delightful journey learning to paint with Pete. I was an absolute beginner when I first started. Now I have more than ten paintings in my lounge room walls. There are still heaps to learn. I enjoy the meditative process of paintings with careful chosen western classic music in the background. An unique cultural experience!

An educator, mentor and all round great bloke. Peter has broken down the stuffy, elitist barriers of and demystified, the art world. Now anyone can experience, appreciate and meaningfully immerse themselves in colour on canvas. In other parts of the Galaxy, far, far away, Peter might otherwise be known as a Jedi. What an incredible experience! A friendly atmosphere, an intimate group setting, and a talented/smart teacher - what more could you ask for. I just completed the beginner lesson and I must say I'll definitely be coming back. Peter does an amazing job, you can tell how much effort and preparation goes into the class. I highly recommend giving it a go, especially if you've thought about painting.

Peter is absolutely incredible. I am a 21 year old bloke with absolutely no clue and what he had me produce was ridiculously above my level. Fantastic experience incredibly enjoyable and I could not recommend this high enough (I'm now addicted).

Peter got a great approach to show you how to get your own master piece within 4 hours. I have done 3 sessions and every time I see progress. Great idea to refresh your mind for professionals with busy lifestyle at this nice and convenient studio in Crows Nest. Certainly very nice decoration piece for your home as well. Highly recommended!

Either you want to paint a piece just once or want to learn basics of oil painting, Peter is the right one to go to. You will be surprised how much you learn in 4 hours. This class is much different from those 2 hour fun painting nights being held at a local bar and it's well worth the extra money spent.Peter is patient, knowing and good at what he is doing, and the whole philosophy of his is just so fun.Ps- this class is for learning not for socialising.... The schedule is actually quite tight. For perfectionist you may not even have enough time to get there. But he teaches enough knowledge and you could even refine your painting afterwards at home.

Who would have thought my wife and I could paint landscapes. Sure we were creative when we were kids in art class at school. But we chanced upon Peter in Crows Nest and re-discovered our creativity producing works of art that now hang on our walls at home. And its a lot of fun!

I am very impressed that you are such a wonderful passionate instructor who has managed to incorporate science, music, history and art in teaching. I really enjoyed every single seconds and did have a great time in class. Thanks to you I know more about Van Gogh and his brush technique.

Peter is generous with his knowledge, patient with his students and above all a master of his craft. Only the stroke of a genius (pun intended) can lead a complete beginner into delivering a genuine piece of art in 4 hours. Highly recommend!
