Oliphan

Have placed an order for my wedding photo album back in September. The website says to contact if you're waiting more than a month, which I have been. I have emailed three times now, sent a live chat message and instagram message and still have had no response. The communication from this business is appalling. Very disappointed and haven't even received my order yet.

We ordered a flush mount album, as Oliphan provided options that fit my criteria: linen cover, thick board pages and an online creator which allowed me to manipulate the pages however I wanted.The online editor is really easy to use, and photos don't take very long to upload. We had a little hiccup with putting the order through and contact Oliphan who were very responsive and helpful, they were kind enough to provide constant updates for our order.We received the order by the date we requested for - The album itself is beautiful, exactly how we pictured it. The quality is exceptional! We are so thrilled with the service and print quality. Would definitely order through these guys again. THANK YOU!

Ordered a photo album and I have to say I'm thoroughly impressed with the print quality and customer service, you guys are really onto it! Image colour came out exactly as submitted and as a bonus on top, the price was absolutely unbeatable. Don't be put off by the low number of reviews we will be definitely using the team here for all our photo printing from now on!

I ordered three flush mount albums and they are truly beautiful (well worth the reasonable price). The online tool is easy and fun to use. The albums arrived really quickly, the linen cover is high quality, the pages are thick, and the colours are nice too (in hindsight I would’ve personally preferred the lustre finish but that’s my fault for not looking at it properly online). Emma was lovely to deal with and I would definitely use Oliphan again in the future. Would recommend to family and friends!

When I was looking for a photo book company, I was looking for someone local in Sydney in hopes that I would be supporting local and that the turnaround period would be swift. When I found Oliphan, I noticed that other than Ben's review, that all reviews were positive so went with my instinct to order.Unfortunately, my experience with Oliphan from a communication standpoint has been extremely disappointing and almost reciprocal to Ben's experience. This is disappointing as there was a response to Ben's review from Oliphan to acknowledge the room to improve. In summary, I still have not received my order. Prior to ordering, I checked in to see if the timeframe I was proposing (around 6 weeks) was enough time. They said that it was a bit tight given COVID but most orders do take around 4 weeks so it should be okay.As I was given the green light, I went ahead and ordered. Unfortunately this is the last I heard from them. I have checked in on a weekly - and now a couple of times a week - just to see how things are going. I paid premium for this book ($300+) and am astonished that this is the type of treatment I am receiving. This book is meant to be a really sentimental and special book for my husband who has gone through an EXTREMELY difficult year, and it is extremely disheartening to see how I am getting the silent treatment.I cannot comment on the quality of the book as I have not yet received the book. However, I am hoping that this review is both received as a way to reflect and improve for Oliphan, and for buyers to beware that unless you are okay to just order and wait and hope for the best when you receive it, this company is definitely not for you.

I was hesitant to leave a review as I know how damaging they can be to small business, however in July I ordered two flushmount albums expecting the quality to be the same as previous orders. The colours of the pages were throwing red/pink and completely not true to the digital file. The textured eggshell paper that I have always loved has changed to an awful gloss. I have ordered many albums in the past with this company, but these most recent two after spending $700 just ended up in the bin. After all communications were ignored I finally got a reply saying they would refund me. It’s been 4 weeks and no sight of a refund. The quality of these albums used to be incredible but now they are just rubbish, poor colour printing and terrible quality paper and equally terrible customer service, my best advice, do not order from Oliphan - take your money and time elsewhere.

I cannot recommend Oliphan highly enough & would not go anywhere else for my photo albums.Oliphan have the highest standards not just in their products but their customer service. They will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy no matter how big or small the issue.Oliphan deliver the highest quality & do everything they can to make sure you are 100% happy with the album you receive.

Terrible customer service. My order failed to arrive and I when I contacted to chase it I didn't receive a reply from anyone for weeks. I think i only received a reply because I contacted via facebook messenger. Email contact failed. I was told the issue was my order arrived to them with blank images and they would refund my money. A lot of wasted time and still no product.

I don’t often review products and if I do they’re rarely negative. I’ll keep this succinct and broken into two categories:Quality:I ordered the wedding album with eggshell paper. Bottom line is that the images look like they are a low resolution. I actually get sharper images with more detail on my home printer with photo paper. This comparison is using one of the same files I uploaded for this album. As an example, skin texture is very flat, compatible to a highly compressed jpeg.Customer service:Disappointing. My first interaction was on day 1 of ordering, to confirm that my images had been uploaded in high resolution and suitable for printing (this was due to what seemed like a fast upload time). There was no response on live chat, so I emailed. A day later I received the following response: “ Thanks for reaching out. After inspection, your photos are of high resolution.”Later interaction was regarding delivery time. I ordered the product on 10 Feb. approaching March I asked for an update, with a reply stating I should receive by mid March.In short, all replies received from the company were very short with no care.The most disappointing aspect though, was when I mentioned the quality of the product received, I was told “ For better printing quality next time. We recommend setting the photo resolution at 300 ppi, and please choose lustre for paper option.Eggshell is a textured uncoated paper, so in comparison with the lustre, it's less sharp.”Summary:Disappointing quality. Poor customer service with no desire to fix a poor quality product that I paid over $330 for.
