Suds at Surrey Laundromat

I went this laundry because of the rewievs. On rewievs a few people says $2 for 20 min dryer but it is 1$ for 6 min. Also there is no washing machine that you can use for $3 .Worse laundry i have ever been. İf i could give less than 1 star i would give 0 . The stupid change machine doesn't even accept 10 or 5 box i had to put $20 to get change. Will never come here again and don't reccomend .

Love this laundrette. So many washing machines and driers. Top loading and front loading machines are available. They are of different sizes for different loads. One single wash ranges from $3 to $7 depending on the machines. $2 per 20 min for drying. There is machine for exchanging notes to coins which are required for operating all the machines. It opens at 6 am but closes very late at 10pm. Many parking spaces along Whitehorse Rd. No wonder I can see so many people using this service.

I mean it gets the job done and round the corner from me. But it is on the pricey side for the size washers. The jumbo washer is pretty much the size of a normal load. Doesn't even fit a washing basket full. The dryers are good but yeah i think you need to invest in an actual jumbo washer.

Clean laundromat with good equipment and a decent level of water used in the washers, though a couple of times I've been there it ended up costing me extra money. Their coin change machine got jammed and swallowed my note, and another time a washer Swallowed a coin without registering, a dryer did the same.The owner did helpfully respond below, so I adjusted my review.

A little old but it’s decent and would definitely recommend. Opens at 6 am, the 3 times I’ve visited have been before 7 am during the week and there’s been no one else around. Has plenty of washers - 7 top loaders @ $5, 6 front loaders - 4 @ $6 & 2 @ newer machines - one is $8 that takes 2 small basket loads, the other says it takes triple loads @ $9 but the newer machines seem like they’d take about the same load as the regular machines. There’s 8 standard dryers which are really good, $1 per 6 mins. Drys really well so I find I only need $3 for 18 mins. Has a coin machine and have used it with no issues. Has soap dispenser, only $1 so all in all really good value. Plenty of instructions everywhere so can’t go wrong. Closes at 10 pm. Bonus is there are shops nearby where you can go get a coffee or whatever while you wait.

I c ame here to quickly dry my Laundry. The place was clean and tidy Instructions were easy to read and the coin machine was also clear. I had no troubles changing la $ coin into two one dollar coins And like the owner said in his response to Emircon’s review it didn’t cost me anything.I can also confirm prices are in line if not cheaper than other Laundrettes. Overall a nice experience.... and can I quickly just say that negative reviews need to be very carefully considered as it is people’s livelihoods that are at stake here. If this was a lies than one star establishment as Emircon wanted to assign it then I would imagine I would be arriving to use a washboard and having to wring dry my clothes through a manual press and I would be fighting my way through rubbish and picking the horse hair off my clothes once done. This place is far far far from that level.

Always clean. Hours from 6 am to 10.00am . Met the young owner once. Good man. Support small businesses. Small families. They are the foundation of Melbourne. Bless them all through these hard times. Also every person, family etc. Don't Give Up. Let's all help each other.

Open early til late. Coin Machine is very handy (we be great if it took 50c pieces though). All washing machines and dryers work perfectly at a good value.

This has to be one of the cleanest and tidiest laundromats I have ever used. There are plenty of dryers and different washing machines and having a change machine is helpful. Some other ones around the area are not very clean or fresh looking. Really good to visit.

Clean and there's a machine that breaks down dollar to coins which is really helpful. I saw the owner cleaning up all the machines, dryers and everywhere. Most importantly, you see WATER in the washing machine when washing. The other laundromat I went to, you can hear the sound of the water but you don't see the clothes get wet! But one note to the owner, the washing machines have washing powders stuck at the rims of the tumblers and the top of the pole in washing machines. Thank you.
