I would not recommend Canebrake Pools at this present time. The vegetation is only just beginning to recover from the recent fires. The toilets are in desperate need of repair and the pool is still covered with chemical left overs from the foam used to battle the recent fire. And the soot….so much soot. I’m sure I’m another 6-12 months it will be back to its beautiful self.

Great scenic camping spot along the edge of the river, surrounded by bushland with about a dozen or more Camp-sites available. The cost is a small fee of around $8 pp, on sight there are drop toilets and fire pits which may be used depending on the season..Few sights are more private than others as they have a little more bushland, during the winter you can often find a site easily but in the warmer months it's often harder to find a site.Animals are welcome as long as their kept on a leash as a precaution as 1080 poisons baits are used sometimes nearby.

Really nice camp grounds, the toilet was in a very clean condition considering it was the end of a long weekend. The fresh water pool is amazing for a swim. If your looking for a really peaceful camp site then this is it!

Great campground and a good base for exploring Busselton and the Margaret River region. There are 9 camping sites with the toilets located right near the start. There is a large day use area and access to the pool for swimming.Across the road from the main campground entry is a firm sandy track which goes to the overflow camping area. This is a large clearing with several sites around the outside. Would be good for a group who want to camp together. No toilets located at the overflow area but the main campground is only a 5 minute walk.

Beautiful stay. Well looked after by the rangers. Picnic tables and fire pits and long drop toilets make this stay even better. Beautiful fungi in the winter aswell

Right in the heart of the Bush on the Margaret River, this place is spectacular. Only 9 unpowered sites with own tables and fire pits, makes this the perfect off grid camp trip. The amenities are simple, with Drop toilets only. At $9 per person. This place is just beautiful.

Nice little spot.. not as secluded as you would imagine. ZERO mobile coverage. Campgrounds well kept. Only 9 sites available first in first serve
