A very professional online course that took an amateur like me and really advance your photography skills. It agives guidance on how to make photography your occupation, and encourages you to take your skills to levels above your current capabilities.

It is a flexible and self-paced online learning experience that is built on 12 well written and structured modules that provide an in-depth introduction into all aspects of Photography and the Photographic industry. I am extremely happy that I made the decision to invest in this course, as it has given me the confidence to further pursue this lifelong interest with enhanced competence, passion and enthusiasm!

I chose The Photography Institute Certificate Course to increase my confidence in using my camera and better understand its capabilities, both of which have been achieved. However, I am also aware that the more I know, the more there is to know! The breadth of the course has developed my skills in post-production and given me an insight into the business of photography. The timeframe of a year worked well for me, and I enjoyed the self-paced nature of the course, which allowed for life's interruptions. I was impressed by the personalised approach of assigning a tutor to each student for support, guidance and assessment of progress. My direction was primarily to expand my photographic skills for personal satisfaction; this course has given me the confidence to join a local camera club and continue building my skill set through their monthly challenges and weekly photographic excursions. The Certificate in Photography is a really great online course to undertake.I took the full 12 months to complete it, but it can easily be done quicker. Before starting the course, I only had a little experience with my DSLR, but I wanted to know more about the technical aspects of photography. Since completing the course, I now have so much more knowledge about my camera and the photographic process required to take great images.Having a personalised online tutor was also really handy. I could ask my tutor, Steven Vote, any questions about the course, modules, or assignments, and I would get a response quickly. He also provided very valuable feedback after each assignment which I will keep on hand for future reference.The course is structured very well, and the content is all relevant. George Seper and the Photography Institute team have done a great job putting it altogether. I would happily recommend the online course to those out there who are interested in photography and want to develop their skillset and knowledge further.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience in completing the Photography Certificate with the Photography Institute. I found the website easy to navigate, and the course material was well organised and encouraged me to research quite a large range of areas of photography. My tutor was very helpful and supportive, and the Facebook group is a very supportive platform to post anything you want to check on; you can also post the projects you are working on and request feedback if you want it. I want to thank my tutor and the Photography Institute for a very positive experience.

The Photography Institute has provided me with the best experience for learning new skills and knowledge in the Certificate of Professional Photography Course. There were so many variations to discover, which all made sense applying the practical portion to the theory with each module. Tutor communication, thank you to Justin Aitkin, was wonderful; prompt replies, questions and queries were answered. Constructive criticism from my tutor was all taken on board, helping me conquer minor mistakes while gaining valuable knowledge and increasing my skill levels. It certainly is the best feeling knowing I have worked hard to achieve a goal in accomplishing this Certificate in Professional Photography that I have wanted for many years and all thanks to The Photography Institute for their professionalism in providing this course.

Having completed this certificate course in photography has brought confidence and increased my interest in this field. This photography course is very interesting and easy to follow; I took my time making sure I physically carried out each module. Would not waste your time with the course, especially the diploma course, the amount of rubbish this course has in it and the goal posts keep moving everytime you send in an assessment. If you can go through TAFE, you would learn a lot more than this lot, total waste of money and time.

The whole process took me back to the fundamental aspects of photography and helped me understand why I love what I do whilst improving my skillset along the way. The diploma course asked me to undertake tasks that I would never normally attempt to improve my skills, confidence, thinking and reasons to shoot. The one-on-one contact with my tutor was exceptional, and they were very helpful from the first to the last day. My improvement is evident, and I look forward to furthering my study after changing my career to photography after completing this course.

I enrolled in the PI course to learn how to use my camera more effectively. I not only achieved this but learnt an amazing amount about photography.The course was very informative and thorough. My tutor was very professional, very encouraging and always very easy to communicate with.I feel a lot more confident using my camera, and I now have the tools to take my photography to a higher level.I would highly recommend the course to anyone wanting to improve on their photography or become a professional.
