didn't have a great experience with the owner of ak handyman. He quoted me the other week $2500-$3000. I ended up paying him close to $4000 that was with me purchasing the floor andmaterials myself over which was over $700 Then before he left yesterday asked for another $40 forsilicone after I'd paid him. He also was supposed to supply kickboards but I ended up having to goto bunnings that day after he had already been to get them because apparently the kitchen staffwerent there. After he left I inspected his work and wasnt happy. He forgot to take the protective plastic off the kickbacks and once we pulled thatup the silicone came off aswell. I rang him to come back which was fine but also questioned the price because of the work done. Which wasn'tup to the standard I would've thought. He refused to break down the cost. He spoke over the top of me on the phone and wouldn't let me talk. Hehung up on me without letting me explain why iwasn't happy. He came out this morning and refused to acknowledge me he instead talked tomy partner referring to me as a her and she even though I was standing right there. He again spokeover the top of me and said once he's finished talking he'll let me talk. I waited and then began to speak he wouldn't look at me or respond and pretended I wasn't there. He cut me off wheneverI was talking and refused to talk to me. In no way was i mean or disrespectful just annoyed at thefact i was ignored and belittled and hung up on For a paying customer to be disrespected in theirwn home is not the behaviour I would expect from a business owner. He also said that he never quoted $2500-$3000 even though my mumwas here that day and heard it. So please don'tget caught out with him. I'd hate for that to happen to anyone else. It`s not the money issueAT ALL It's the fact that he lied about the first quote he gave me, was rude, ignorant andunprofessional and made me feel disrespected inmy own home. In no way am I entitled, I hate conflict and I never ever stand up for myself orcomplain if im not happy with anything. Everyone that knows me knows I'm easy to get along withbut for an owner of a business to act this way is not great behaviour. I would not leave a 1 star review if he did not speak over the top of me andignore me in my own home. It's disrespectful andnobody should be treated that way.

I had Amrit and his team come in and install the new flooring for my house. They’ve done a spectacular job. They completed it in a timely manner, cleaned up all the rubbish up after themselves. Amrit communicated with me over everything and was really helpful with advice and support with final decisions. I will be using Amrit again for further work on my house.

Highly recommended Mr Singh and his team.They did a fabulous Job. Team painted interior and exterior of my house which is located at Mowbray.Team is Very friendly, informative and always on time.

Amrit who is the owner of this business has undertaken many different tasks for me. He is a competent tiler, painter both interior and roofs and also an experienced window glassier. He is probably one of the most competent handymen I have ever employed. Most importantly Amrit is trustworthy and honest. I have no hesitation in recommending him to any potential customers.
