What an incredible experience! Everything was beautifully done - the tours, the food, the guides were amazing. The accommodation is simple but good and not much time actually spent in the rooms. Guests have access to view a beautiful range of animals including giraffes, rhinos, ostrich and zebras.I brought my almost 9 year old and she loved it all too.The pool was very refreshing and you can order drinks to have by the pool. The food was fantastic and plentiful. They were accommodating of special dietary requirements. The giraffe feeding and elephant bathing routine were highlights. Thank you so much for a magnificent stay. I highly recommend coming.

My partner and I recently stayed at Dubbo Zoo in the Animal View lodge. We really enjoyed our experience. Before we check-in in our lodge we used our bike hire that comes with your booking to explore the zoo. Highly recommend hiring bikes because it is so much easier and quicker to explore the zoo instead of walking for almost 6 km. After we checked-in we had a coffee at our lodge overlooking Savannah. Zoo keepers feed the animals right in front of us and we were able to see giraffes, zebras, rhinos and antelopes up close which was just amazing. Afternoon private tour and giraffe feeding were also pretty amazing. Dinner was very delicious. My partner really enjoyed bobotie, a South African dish, at the dinner. During winter we recommend to turn your heating on immediately when you arrive. It does get cold during the night and it is hard to heat up the tent. Overall we enjoyed everything and highly recommend paying a bit extra to get the Animal View lodge.

Cozy and unique, great experience for the African Savannah. You get a real feeling you're in the savannah. The evening safari was disappointed we basically went to the same parts of the zoo we had seen in the day and morning safaris was great and made up for the disappointment of the evening. The rooms are simple but suitable with decent shower/bathroom it was disappointing that after all the money we spent our room was so run down the veranda roof was ripped and the fly screen was taped up with white tape. Some snacks are also provided. The meals are well made and taste amazing. Please note that you have to take your own bags to your room in these carts that are extremely dangerous my husband scraped the skin off his shin. There are no instructions on how to operate the cart

An excellent 2 nights stay at zoofari lodge as family (kids 5 and 3). Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean and spacious with separate shower and bath.Breakfast and dinner included in stay and the foods exceed expectations. The staff and tour guides are friendly and wonderful. Both morning and evening tours were excellent and not to be missedWould highly recommend!

This was an adventure and value for money. The chef catered carefully for dietary requirements, which was amazing. The tents/glamping accommodation were well heated. The bed was comfy and the staff friendly. My only 2 dislikes; the shower as it had bad shower pressure and was a rain shower only no detachable shower head. The other, on the morning savanna bus tour the windows were covered in condensation on the outside, this should have been wiped down with a towel before the tour as we were not able to see anything out of the windows.

Stayed one night in the animal view safari tents. At $976 consider we got our moneys worth as an exceptional experience. Room beautiful, dinner and breakfast nice, pool, pleasant staff but the animals steal the show. A night time and early morning tour on an open bus highlights, especially viewing the behind the scenes elephant wash down. Price included admission to zoo both days and bike hire day 2. Any profits made go back into the Zoo.

Cozy and unique, great experience for the African Savannah. You get a real feel for the animals' characters and cultures. Either have the Savannah as your porch view, or have a short 2 minute walk to the viewing area. The evening and morning safaris are amazing, the best experience for animal lovers. The rooms are simple but suitable with decent shower/bathroom and minimal kitchen, as no cooking, but no need with the lodge feeding your every meal. Some snacks are also provided. The meals are huge and leave you fully ready to take on the busy day.

It's a fantastic place. This is the second time we've been here. It's the luck of the draw" with your animal experience (the animals make their own rules)

Fantastic experience, with 5 star groundping facilities. Customer service was superb @ zoo and Zoofari lodge. Definitely meet our expectations and beyond. Want to get back there in a different season as it is very cool at night in May.
