Kick Dance Studio

For 10 years the teachers and people at Kick have become my daughter’s second family. Their professional approach to teaching blended with their absolute care for students they teach absolutely sets them apart from any other dance schools in the area (and beyond). The quality of their teaching has allowed my daughter to improve technically and in her confidence as both a dancer and person. The teachers at kick have an incredibly high technical skill and understanding of their craft, and combined with their passion for educating young people this really is the best dance school for any student wanting confidence, friends, support, fun, and quality technical dance education.

Moving up from the Gold Coast only a year ago, finding a decent dance school for my girls was a must! Lisa & her team were so welcoming & warm to our family that joining Kick was an instant YES. A year has passed & I know it’s been the best choice of dance schools for our girls. They love every class & all the teachers.

Kick is an awesome studio with great facilities, teachers and sense of community. I am so proud of the strong training and technique I developed there for over 15 years. The teachers create a space where students can build positive relationships with themselves, adults and other students. I am so grateful for the life long friends that my kick experience has given me. Kick is a wonderful dance school for all ages. The Kick community is very inclusive. They truly make you feel like part of the family. They have very professional and fabulous teachers. My kids absolutely adore going to Kick. They have great friends and love their classes.

My daughter had to write about her favourite place in the world for a school assignment once. She didn’t hesitate when she chose to write about Kick Dance.She has made many life long friends and I know that she just loves feeling and being a part of the Kick Dance family. They do fun musical theatre performances, wonderful end of year concerts and enter Eisteddfods throughout the year.There are experienced teachers and dedicated owners who genuinely care about your child’s well-being and have instilled a passion and love for performing in my daughter. They have built a really lovely community and the older students who dance there, and often assist in teaching, are great role models for the younger kids. There is also a friendly army of parents and volunteers who are only too willing to help out with things like costuming and uniform requirements. They have saved this somewhat clueless dance mum on several occasions.I am forever grateful for the influence that Kick Dance has played in my daughter’s confidence and happiness. It is a welcoming, fun and inclusive environment where creativity, passion and being yourself is celebrated.5 stars!

Kick Dance offers a wide range of different styles of dance, with excellent teachers. My daughter has danced with them for more than 10 years now and both learned so much in terms of discipline, time management and also built incredible friendships. Our Kick Family!
