Banjos Bushland Retreat ( incl Brumbys .Swagman, Clancys)

Set in beautiful bushland, Banjos is a magical place. I have stayed at Banjos on 5 occassions now and it is always disappointing to leave.I love the walks around the area, especially to the lagoon. You need sturdy walking shoes because it is a very rocky and hilly area (because of course, Banjos is atop the mountain) and it is great exercise.Take lots of bird seed for the King Parrots, rainbow lorikeets and white-headed pigeons as well as meat for the kookaburras (some of which will eat out of your hand), butcher birds and crows.It can be cold in winter. But there are lots of blankets, including electric blankets on the beds, and a cozy fireplace in the main living rooms. Every room has its own bathroom, which is great and the lodges are all very spacious.

Beautiful space. We went for a weekend away with friends and kids and Banjos exceeded all of our expectations. Stunning house, fully equipped kitchen, everything well organised and laid out. The owners take exceptional care to make sure their guests are looked after. Wonderful holiday!!

I cant wait to visit again. This was our second time here and it didn't disappoint. Every room was spacious and clean. The views are amazing. It reminded me of visiting Nyanga, Zimbabwe. Highly recommend for a trip with family and friends. Great for children too.

Banjo's Retreat,Stunning, Wonderful, 1st class accommodation, Wildlife everywhere and facilities such as spa and tennis court were great.I Took a group of women to Banjo's Retreat for a Pampering weekend, enjoying Meditation, etc, every one totally enjoyed Banjo's retreat, the atmosphere adding to the beautiful weekend of pampering.I will return many more times yet.Luv & Light Shaz Butterfly

Nice bushland setting. I did not stay here I only dropped off & picked up. The people who did stay all agreed it was to the standard they expected for their retreat. The road in is narrow & winding & you need to be aware of oncoming traffic & wild life. If you like being surrounded by bush & wild life its worth checking out.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Amazing location, it's definitely well worth the drive out. The house and rec room were immaculate.

We loved our stay at Banjo's Bushland Retreat! They have everything you need and Jenny was so helpful throughout our booking process. The Recreation Centre was so much fun we had daily trips to the Spa, Tennis court, Table Tennis and many of Putt Putt Golf Tournaments. The Little Park was perfect for our 18 month old. Our girls enjoyed feeding the birds on the balcony (the Kookaburras especially) . We will be back soon for more relaxation and a wildlife enjoyment :)

It’s really a nice place, well organised, clean like 5 star hotel, have all the facilities and best place to stay with family. They have so much activities that we didn’t had to go out from there. Also it’s managed by wonderful people Jenny & Malcolm. We will stay again and again and again. Loved it all the way.

Banjos is a fantastic rental property for big families. The rooms in the cabins are spacious and each come with an ensuite. The facilities at the activities area are well maintained and are a great way to spend time with family outside of the cabins.
