Home and Industrial are exceptional engineering company, I used them on all my job for approximately 30 years.

EDIT: Home & Industrial has since reached out and provided the information requested and clarified how these figures were calculated. They have also advised that they will be adding further detail to future reports.Paid over $600 for Footing Probes to be conducted at my property with a clearly defined list of information i needed to ascertain(bearing capacity of soil under the footings, footing depth, width of footings etc).Once I paid and received the report there was none of this information provided, only a diagram of the height and width of the footings exposed.When i followed up on the missing info, i was given an assumed minimum kPa" for the soil under each of the footings.This now leaves me in a situation where I either find another engineering company and pay them to complete the task properly or

I was going to get some advice from a competent engineer before opting for a foundation type as I didn't want the builder to order the cheapest foundation of DTS level and also had quite a few questions about my little project.Despite the scale of the job, Gary approached this very professionally, looked after me and provided prompt exhaustive advice and in the end came back with a reasonable solution in short time.Definitely recommend!

they are very irresponsive and even though they had made a mistake in their details, but still demanding payment for amendment. now we have paid but keep calling them but the engineer is not even responding to my email or calls.

Just wanted to pass on my compliments on the plans. We are often presented with engineering plans that are difficult to interpret, or are not expressing usual building methods and procedure. Your plans make good use of line types, hatching and shading to represent various materials. Overlaying the wall layout on the slab plan, hatching the entire slab step down, and useful details of connections all help communicate the engineering effectively. This is particularly useful to us when leaving less experienced staff to interpret the plans on their own.Thanks again, and hope to work with you again in the future.

They have done an Inbestigation inspection for my house that has cracks on the cornices. Their inspection work is terrible and biased towards builder. They don't do a thorough and detailed inspection to find out the problem
