Healers massage

Went for a 60 minute remedial massage. Used my private health and $45. The lady said it was only needed for 45 mins to do my target areas. Not all target areas were done. Didn’t appear to know what she was doing. Different on each side. Lots of pain, no relief. Said we were out of time to finish. Then gone with no one to speak with about it. No wonder you pay upfront

I have been coming here for years and love the remedial massages by Kitty and Megan. Helps with my aches and pains. It is relaxing and quiet with the music playing. They are always busy and on weekends get booked out early in the day.

This place has changed and I’m sorry that I just experienced such poor quality service from a place I used to love. And I have to change my 5 stars review down to 1 star. The masseur who treated me today is an Asian girl named Megan. I asked for dry acupuressure massage. Once I was on the treatment table facing down, she first massaged my back using one hand and I have no idea what she was doing (as if she was looking at the phone at the same time). Then when I requested her to give me stronger pressure, she said this is a dry relaxation massage. If I want a stronger pressure massage, I have to pay for remedial massage. I never said I wanted relaxation massage, I said I wanted dry Acupressure massage. But she insisted that only remedial massage would give stronger pressure. This is ridiculous and I told her I came to this place so many times, I never being treated like this before. It is very reasonable to ask for pressure adjustment from my years of massage experience. I didn’t want to continue with her and arranged a refund and she was in a very bad attitude and even asked me to give her the loyalty card to delete her name for this treatment. She knows nothing about customer service, being very lazy and drive away a long term customer within 5 minutes. The masseurs here were very professional before but they left. Don’t waste money here there are more professional masseurs in another massage clinic in the same shopping centre.

Thought I would try Healers Massage for the first time today. Phoned to make an appointment and told we’re available now. Advised that I was 15 minutes away and agreed on 11:30am appointment, name and mobile number taken. Arrived at 11:32am and abruptly advised that because I was late (2 minutes??!) my appointment had been given away and the rest of the day was fully booked!? I’m sorry I was a little late but given I had just phoned and said I was on my way, please give me an opportunity to park and find your location in the shopping centre? Thanks for the courtesy call as well seeing as you had my number. I won’t be back again.

I have given this rating because of Megan's professional approach to her work. With quals in Natural Therapies including acupuncture, she has been successful in eliminating all my muscular woes over the last 2 years. ✅️

Felt uncomfortable, head massage just felt like someone rubbing head with a towel. Nothing relaxing or remedial about it. Non specific shoulder rubbing, not focusing on knots. Felt like it could have been a lot better for $50.

Today i had a 1hr massage an 15min cupping.It was Amazing!! My pain has subsided. My headache is gone.I have never had a bad massage at Healers Massage Mitchelton. They are the best!!

Paid for a 30 minute remedial massage as knots down my spine were causing tightness in my neck and shoulders. The masseuse didn't take any notice of where the knots were and just gave me a generic, repetitive and painfully rough massage over my shoulders. I've had many massages before and there was nothing remedial about this. I could have done more with a foam roller. The knots in my back were completely ignored, and the whole massage lasted not even 25 minutes including when she left mid-service to answer the phone.$50 to be left in more pain than I began with. Never again.

Just wanted to share that I have had many massages at Healers Massage in Brookside Shopping Centre! Kittie and Megan are so pleasant and helpful and definitely really good at what they do! Great work ladies you boss is lucky to have you both!! Thanks Rebecca xxx
