After been turned away from my local vet clinic, and sent to sash specialist animal hospital, sent away from RSPCA, and been unable to get any urgent medical care for my dog, whose eye was out! this vet helped me. I dont know what you all complaining about the prices, SASH quoted me over 8K for an eye removal, which I couldnt afford, so they sent me away, with my dog in pain. they charged $400 just to tell me she needed surgery, and it would cost me 8K. RPSCA was booked out, and when told it was an emergency, they didnt care! they said they were not an emergency hospital. It was only Chester Hill Vet who actually went out of her way to help me in this situation. not only she was compassionate, but she was understanding of my financial situation. I would recommend her any day, to anybody else. Thank you Chester Hill Veterinary clinic.Joana

I had a concern for my cat and called this clinic as it was my local one. She picked up and as I was explaining my concern, she ended the call. I thought it was an accident and called twice after that but my call was declined. The worst phone etiquette I have ever experienced.

The staff including reception, nurses and Vets are very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. They have been very supportive with any issues I’ve had with my Frenchie. Highly recommended.

Most horrible service ever. They are a scam!!! SCAMMERSS. Money hungry scammers. This vet doesnt care about any animal welfare, they just see dollar signs and numbers. They made my pet even sicker and didnt help at all. 0/5 Would not reccommend to anyone at all.

Really really thankful that Shamela and the vets here saved my baby girl. She was in a really bad state with Pyrometra and needed emergency surgery. I went to Sash that wanted to charge me an arm and leg and quoted me 6k +, but im so thankful i found Blacktown vet that saved my dogShes now healthy again after they taken good care of her. Thankyou again.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCEI am so upset with the service I experienced at Chester Hill Vet Hospital. Don’t go there! I tried to see my usual vet but couldn’t get an appointment until the following week. Out of desperation I went there with my sick dog. They pray on your concern and worry over your beloved pet. They charge exorbitant prices. The place is run down and dirty. The lady vet didn’t even do a thorough examination to justify the exorbitant costs. It was the worst experience.

I have a stray cat who has been attacked - probably kicked by a human and in urgent need of care. I tried to call the vet on a Saturday at 1:00pm. Website says they are open until 5:00pm. Rude person answering told me to go to RSPCA, who had already told me to contact my local vet.I was told that vets have a duty of care NOT to turn away injured animals - wild and native. Clearly these guys are out for $ anc not compassion.

I took my very old frail dog Zac to Chester Hill vet on a regular basis in the last 6 months of his life. Every time we went we were sold expensive medication that didn’t help him at all. When we made the difficult decision to euthanise our beloved dog Zac the vet waited until she had sedated him on the floor and then gave me the exorbitant costing of $802. When I disputed the cost she reduced it to $700. She took advantage of my vulnerability at the time and Ieft me with no other option than to pay $700 as my dog was laying sedated on the floor of the surgery. Months later when my other old frail dog was nearing his end of life we consulted a different local vet and were quoted $160 for the exact same procedure that Chester Hill vet charged me $700 for. This vet is after all the money they can get from you. I have included a photo of the card they sent out as they tend to deny any knowledge of their clients when they’ve left bad reviews. Stay right away from Chester Hill vet!

This is the most disrespectful and horrible Vet clinic available in NSW. My poor puppy was not feeling well and being close to New Years and his regular Vet Clinic being completely booked out, I had no choice other than to bring him here.1) They over charged me for everything I left the vet clinic after 10 minutes with more than a $400 bill.2) They charged me $70 for a tube of cream which I later found out from my local Vet to be a $8 cream3) They charged me $90 for a couple of tablets which I found out to be worth $204) They charged me for an anti-inflammation injection for my puppy $148 which also turned out to be worth $60. MARK MY WORDS DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE.They have no experience in what they are saying or doing. This clinic is owned by a husband and wife who are just there to make money.DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY SAY OR GIVE YOU, they are a money making scammers. I will definitely be taking this to the veterinarian board.
