Midland Public Library

Love the library always hire movies and books but the older lady's are very Rudy if you have an over due that is *2 days old* they talk very rudly like I said I'm sorry I'll bring them in today then she turns around and goes that's not good enough! Like what the. Thought you forgive and forgot guess not.

Excellent staff and good collection of books. They have also recently modernized the computer systems and has now a very simple way of borrowing /returning books. Only downside is the area around the library always seem to have some dodgy characters hanging around...

the Midland library seems to attract a special type of staff ... one that is always helful and caring .. I don't often visit, but it is always a good experience when I do. I love the new ideas that are being introduced.. the virtual reality.. (I've tried it twice), the 3D printer... the e-book system.. the computers on WIFI... As i have more recreational time, I will be taking more advantage of this very modern library.

What a lovely library to spend time in, the staff member I spoke with was so warm and helpful. Lynetta. They have so much on offer, and are well set up in the temporary space. Will definitely be back there often.

Fantastic variety of books, reservation system is so easy to use. I never have to wait long for a book to come in from another library. I love the electronic checkout and drop off system. If you need help the staff are always available and super helpful. One of my favourite libraries.

Any library in any part of the world is meant for some peace. But very surprisingly this library is all with lot of noise and lot of people talking all the times. Most annoyingly people who use the library also using this for making calls. For example one guy came with a laptop and started making calls, he must be using this Library for his business use.They also run some music in the library. Woo god I never saw a library with this much of disturbance. They must put silence boards all over the library for sure. Or the staff must go for some kind of a library ethics training.But the good point about this library is everything is neat and there are few rooms you can use for your preparation.

Have been in several times over the years for various things, from borrowing books to using the computers and printer. Staff have always been very helpful. Emailed with a query today and had a response in about five minutes! Fantastic service.

Great little library. Not heaps of computers but there’s usually a couple free. Two hours per day is a bit too short if you need to study or research. The ‘local’ indigenous people sometimes come past speaking very loud which can be distracting (it is over the road from Centrepoint which is where they congregate. Good range of books and it’s part of the historical town hall

amazing public library with very nice, helpful staff. Very relaxing atmosphere and quit areas where you can read books and do you personal work. staff do excellent job by providing a range of resources and opinions. i really love this place for my study.
