We got some dinner. Service was very nice and friendly. Food was good, but there were some things missing. Pork was slightly dry and lacking flavour but if eaten with everything else on the plate it was nice. Octopus was perfect!! Fish of the day needed some more sauce, but the fish itself had a nice crisp texture on the outside. And the beef cheeks were super soft but also lacked some flavour, but yet again if eaten together with everything else it was delicious. I loved the sourdough bread the most because it had an amazing honey butter next to it! Overall delicious meal but overpriced a bit.

Food was absolutely amazing, 10/10. Wish I could’ve said my compliments to the chef however my customer service was poor and could improve considering the amount spent on dinner.

About 9 of us went to The Italian for a mates farewell. There is absolutely nothing we could fault. Service was fantastic and the food was incredible. We ordered a second helping of mains, it was that good! Wine selection was also on point. We will be back.

As locals, we often choose the Italian over many other Byron Bay options because they have a very delicious Vegan selection, Last night was no exception. Our meals were perfectly balanced and tasty, but it didn't stop there the service was exceptional our host and wait staff couldn't have been more professional, helpful and charming. In fact i clumsily tipped a wine glass over and our host/Matradee quickly and discreetly mopped it up reset the table and topped up a new glass with in a minute. Brilliant attention with no fuss it was a treat to whiteness and saved me from potential embarrassment - well done Italian Byron Bay.

Went here quite late at night because no other restaurant had the kitchen open.The staff were sooooo accomodating, opened the kitchen so late at night, even turned the coffee machine back on. The food was great and the service was super friendly, attentive and went above and beyond for us. Can’t wait to go back!

Great dog friendly place. Awesome food, great cocktails, and really good service.Our 2 dogs were welcomed with a water bowl and a spot under our table.

Great dinner with my partner at the Italian.We had the Italian board, what’s not to love really. I had the snapper and it was amazing and fresh. Partner had the lamb which he loved.Service was great and restaurant is nice and clean. Definitely a place to eat at.

Absolutely the most amazing Authentic Italian to eat. Home made goats cheese and Pumpkin Ravioli. The Cream Burlee was Absolutely amazing highly recommend going and trying this restaurant.
