Accessed via the Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre. Regular shuttle bus service. Various self guided walks available depending on time and fitness. Really enjoyable experience walking through the World Heritage Daintree Rainforest. Plenty of photo opportunities.

We started at the visitors centre which had lots of gift and art to purchase. After that we took the bus to the start of the walking trans to the gorge, it was only a short walk to the water and it was spectacular, crystal clear water and had to go for a swim it was so inviting. It was so refreshing and calming.Lovely boardwalk through the rainforest for access. There are lengthy walk to take if interested.

Beautiful place. The tour guide was great. That was a very big spider and a sneaky turkey!

Mossman Gorge
Just a 30 min drive from Port Douglas, this natural wonder is a definite must to visit. We were advised not to swim on our visit due the current water level, as there's been a lot of rain lately. However that didn't stop us from enjoying the amazing views and unique rock formation in the Gorge. There's a small fee to take the shuttle to the Gorge but worth every penny. Definitely worth visiting.

The star attraction here, the Gorge, is easily seen, with a quick shuttle to the main car park, then a short walk along the raised Baral Marrjanga boardwalk to the main lookout.A very short extension takes you to the Rex Creek swing bridge, and on the return make sure you do the Lower River Walk for different views of the Gorge, and in under half an hour you've seen it all.But if you have time, take the extended Rainforest Circuit Track for patches of rainforest, tall trees, and some lovely small creeks and waterfalls. If you do all the side trips you will be back at the shuttle bus in just over 2 hours. The Rainforest Track is not a boardwalk and is quite rough in parts with a few climbs, but it's not arduous and doesn't need hiking boots.Back at the visitor centre there's decent toilets, a superb gift shop, and a place to have a drink or a meal (but beware, most food is done by 2, and the menus didn't always match the reality of the available food).

Yeah like it was good but the loop walk wasn't worth it really but I had fun anyway just got heaps sweaty. No change rooms nearby where you can swim so I wasn't able to have a refreshing dip after sweating through the walk

A lovely trip to the Mossman Gorge today. Easy trails to follow. Sturdy tracks and boardwalks. Definitely worth a visit if you're heading to Port Douglas and the surrounding area.

What an absolutely beautiful place! I had read about tropical rainforests in mid-school geography; saw them today for the first time. And boy, what an experience! It even rained today to make the ambience even more surreal! Lush green cover on the ground... Green canopies up on top. Sounds of birds... And of the water cascading over rocks and boulders. We then took a dip in the freshwater pools... The water was so cool and refreshing. Do visit this place if you're in Northern Queensland.
