Rotherwood Wines

Lovely boutique winery run by a husband and wife team who have the benefit of presenting wines from each of their own wineries (Rotherwood from Ken, and Far Ago Hill from Katrina). Given the boutique nature of the operation they have an impressively wide array of wines to choose from. Katrina was a fantastic host and made our 10th wedding anniversary celebrations a most enjoyable day.

A fantastic experience for private groups to enjoy sampling Rotherwood and Far Ago Hill wines in the newly opened tasting room set amongst their beautiful gardens. We went in the winter time and it was so cosy with the open fire going. Ken and Katrina are great hosts, and had us sample a selection of rose, white, and red wines. All the wines were delicious, so if you can’t choose, don’t go past the award winners - Far Ago Hill Pinot Gris and the Rotherwood Pinot Noir.Note - you need to book in advance to ensure you can get in on your desired day.

Wow!! I really think this place deserves a name like Rotherwood Botanical Gardens". An absolute delight to stroll around and all taken care of by a single gardener. Most impressive. Not only a beautiful garden but their Pinot Noir is exquisite also."
