Dee Why Auto Care was extremely helpful and professional. I brought a car here for a pre-purchase inspection after taking a look at a second hand car in the area. Although from the seller I was initially given the impression that there were no issues with the car, the mechanic (forgot his name) was very diligent in his inspection and pointed out the number of problems with the car. He also gave us a take home form with all of the issues with the car and wrote down all the ballpark costs to expect if I was the purchase the car and repair it. Would definitely go here for a pre purchase inspection if I was in the area.

Absolute gem this place was to find!As someone who was always loyal to getting my car fixed at the Holden Service Centre I was uneasy going anywhere else but I needed my car seen asap & they couldn't fit me in for 2 weeks!Thanks to reading up on the Google reviews it was David Tupou's reviews that won me over so I thought I'd take the gamble even though I had seen a few bad ones (not all bad reviews are a true reflection people)!Little did I know upon arriving to the garage Dad who was with me recognised their mechanic 'Ofa who he used to cross paths with during their Rugby days!I can't thank 'Ofa & the team at Dee Why Auto Care enough for not only helping to fix my car but I appreciate it even more that it was able to be fixed within a couple hours!Thanks to these guys I only had to put up with the car being down for a couple hours.Dad & I will be loyal to taking our cars here from now on. The price is nothing in comparison to finding people who you can trust to know that your car is well looked after.Thank you Dee Why Auto Care! You have a customer for life in me!

GREAT Service! Had a small issue with my car that Steve and the guys fixed very promptly and for a great price. I was really impressed how Steve MMSd me photos of the service as it was happening so I could actually see what was causing the issue and the replacement parts. It's great to have a mechanic you can trust - they are now my go-to mechanic!

I went to this place (guy’s name is Steve) to get my air con fixed. After years of going back again and again Steve still couldn’t fix it long term (would only work for a little while after going there to get it fixed, then it would break again). Finally went to a different mechanic who fixed it first time due to a leaking condenser and I haven’t had a problem with it since. Why Steve didn’t check this/couldn’t find the leak in the condenser I have no idea, either he’s incompetent at his job or was taking me for a ride costing me hundreds if not thousands of dollars over the time going to him! Do not recommend, avoid this place, find somewhere better to fix your car for you (especially the air con) otherwise be prepared to waste your money and be taken for a ride.Addition: 2020 wasn't that long ago. Hope you've got better at fixing air conditioning. Should have stopped going to you long before, would have saved me a lot of money. RIP OFF.
