Kat has yet again turned me and my drab downer do into a perfect purple princess!!!Today was my second visit to the salon after the vivid colour queen Kathrynn moved and I am so glad I followed her to Mooi hair.The team is friendly and welcoming and it’s a really comfortable environment. They made me feel genuinely valued (despite me looking like Oscar the grouch’s trash can).No fake compliments or aggressive sales pitch, just genuine kindness & teamwork. You can feel how well they all work together just being in their space.Absolutely 10/10 recommend Kat for vivid hair colours and the team at Mooi for making their gorgeous space so inviting.

I’ve finally found my hair home! All of the staff are phenomenal and make you feel like part of the family and my hair looks and feels incredible!I’ve only been there once for a complete vivid colour transformation and Kathryn couldn’t have made it a better experience and there is zero chance I’m going anywhere else from now on.Normally I feel quite uncomfortable or self conscious when getting my hair done, but here I couldn’t have felt further from it. It made a huge difference having Kathryn be so enthusiastic about trying to help me find something new and fun and keeping me informed about the maintenance and cost completely throughout. Her experience and willingness to take the time to lend her knowledge and experience before even picking up a pair of scissors made a world of difference.The entire staff seemed equally as welcoming and invested in giving every single person who walked in the door the best experience possible. To round it off, the studio is awesome and even have these cute little work stations for those who have long appointments.I am completely obsessed with my hair and can’t wait to go back!

So pleased with my visit to Mooi! Aaron and his staff did an excellent job and felt very taken care of. From the details of the beverage and snacks menu to the amazing colour, hair cut and style. Very happy and will definitely be back

Wonderful salon, everyone is so accomodating and helpful. The environment is very comfortable which I really appreciated as someone who usually feels uncomfortable at hairdressers. I had such a lovely experience at Mooi Hair! The entire team was so friendly and hospitable upon entry and that just set up the whole experience.One thing that stood out to me was communication. I've never been to a salon that has actually told me how long I will need to entertain myself waiting for the dye to take to my hair, but Mooi told me how long I was going to wait and even set a timer for visibility. Such a small thing but I really appreciated it. Communication between team members was excellent as well.As for the hair cut itself, very impressed! I asked for a style change and they absolutely delivered. Anita was incredibly professional and just so lovely to talk to.I will be back!

This was the most wonderful salon experience I have had. All of the staff were so kind and accommodating, they provided a wider range of refreshments, the price is so reasonable and the final result is so so so beautiful. My fave part - when washing my hair they asked if I wanted a head massage. I dread the hairdresser cos I HATE a head massage and this was just such a nice gesture.

Fantastic service and my hair-do lasted 48 hours. Thank you for taking the time to teach me how to blowdry my hair. Tried it today. Although not as professional, I am beginning to understand the technique and concept. Grateful for your patience and advice :)

I had a great experience at Mooi Hair from start to finish, I cannot fault anything and it was probably the best service from a salon I’ve ever received. The staff were lovely, the refreshments/drinks offered upon entering; ample and delish and the actual treatment result was exactly what I asked for. I got a hair cut with Aaron which included a wash and style, all for a really reasonable price. Aaron is clearly very talented and experienced. I highly recommend this salon!

Mooi is a great place to get your hair done. All the staff are super friendly and awesome at what they do. I’ve had my hair coloured there a few times now and have never left disappointed. The owner Aaron is lovely and Mooi deserves all their business.
