Not a bad boat ramp. The water around here is pretty and probably only suitable for a small boat, particularly so now with the river low from lack of rain. The water is basically fresh and non-tidal being some distance up stream of the Barrage. Makes for pleasant trouble free boating, perfect for kayaking.
