Mantra Hervey Bay

Great place to stay on the waterfront at the marina. Nice room with King bed, well equipped kitchen and good lounge area. Big spa bath and washer and dryer. Enjoyed our time here. All the tours nearby and miles of beaches ⛱️

Mantra Hervey Bay is located on the esplanade with a five minute walk to the beach and club but not all rooms are built equally. We booked an oceanfront spa room months in advance directly with the hotel for May so outside holiday season. When we arrived the apartment we were allocated didn’t match my booking confirmation picture. We had a view over the restaurant rooftop below which had a noisy exhaust fan. We asked to change apartments and told the photo confirmation picture is merely just a guide - we were given a slightly better apartment one floor up. The apartments are outdated, no dishwasher, uncomfortable single beds pushed together to make a king with a dip in the middle. The indoor spa is super noisy so we used it once only. The bedroom light automatically lit up at 6am each morning so we disconnect the power supply. We noticed many of these apartments are for sale and that’s a sign of the times.

Rachel was absolutely amazing to us. We had a little drama in the first room we were assigned, and she helped us out so much. She is a gem!The location is absolutely beautiful and the pool area is amazing to. The rooms were really clean. Would definitely recommend to stay here.

Poor customer service. Customers don’t seem to matterIn addition although we understood we weren’t in an accessible room we were correctly told it was a roll in shower and there was a badly positioned grab rail. I had asked them to note that I was bringing a wheelchair. Even so the doorway to the room itself had a 2 inch step.Worse was that feedback was brushed off when I told them they needed more accessible rooms on checkout.Can’t access any areas from a seated position. Rooms are very dated.

Excellent and friendly staff. The room was great except for a minor issue with the smell coming from the drains. We could not use the spa at all and were very disappointed as we paid extra for that. When raised with the staff, they were accommodating and very prompt to send maintenance.Overall happy with the facilities and within walking distance to the beach and other cafes. Nice place to stay.

Rooms really good but beware shower over enclosed bath to hip height. Unlike NSW rules, it is not compulsory to have walk-in showers.Staff couldn't have been more helpful and nothing was too much trouble.Fabulous location right on boardwalk to some great restaurants and Hervey Bay Boat Club.Away from the city area, it is very quiet. Even the people in the pools were quiet.

Very small rooms for what it is. The upgrade for Accor Plus members was really nothing exciting.For the first night I recieved what was probably the crappiest hotel room I've ever had in my life. It was damp, dusty and zero deecent view but a tiny slither of view. I was paying for two nights for different purposes yet they couldn't merge the room which was an inconvenience even though they we checked in early.Don't waste your time with the pool access couldn't open the gate due to the table.The location is great but I'd recommend staying somewhere closer to the town.

Fabulous staff. We arrived at our room only to find the shower over a bath that was sealed in to hip height, which was impossible for me to use. They very kindly upgraded us.Nothing was too much trouble and always friendly.Room was lovely but the bedrooms need ceiling fans and a dust pan would come in handy. This was an apartment and had a full sized fridge, proper stove and even a dishwasher. There was a washing machine & dryer in the bathroom with substantial walk in shower. All the sachets for laundry and dishwasher available. We had our ice cream dessert from the ice cream bar and they had a selection of bottled wine.There is a swimming pool that meanders around the two towers.LOCATION was fabulous. Who doesn't like a short walk to 5 different restaurants along the marina board walk. There is also a scuba diving classes and a booking place for all your tours, just around the corner.

Rooms very depressing. Poor lighting etc. Needs revamp of paint and fixtures and a general going over. Shower over bath almost impossible to use. Signs everywhere saying don't open bathroom door after shower otherwise the fire alarms will go off. Too much pressure. Beds very old. I can see the rooms are clean and tidy just need a revamp especially for the money.

Great place, bathroom is a disaster waiting to happen. Upgrade really needs to happen. Overall good value for money. Beautiful views
