Coles Castle Hill

Admittedly I do the bulk of my grocery shopping at Coles Kellyville plaza but that is based on convenience and avoiding the crowds . As true as a review can get , it is mind boggling to see how busy this store can be and it’s obvious when you see the vast product range upon entering the store . The fresh produce, bakery and meat displays throughout the open area is nothing short of excellent and traversing the numerous alleys the shelves are well stocked . A massive supermarket within the iconic Castle Towers , very highly recommended. There is stacks of parking & plenty more shops to visit once the shopping is done .

Everytime I use the self serve checkouts, the old Asian lady there is always grumpy and harassing someone. She has poor customer service skills and has previously incorrectly accused people of stealing and most recently she agressively snatched a 15c coles bag from someone because they didn't scan it straight away, she shouldn't be working there with such poor behaviour

Always have stock available. Excellent variety of products. Main issue is there a lots of self-checkouts and barely any staff at the cash registers. Very frustrating! I don't work at Coles- I don't want to have to scan my own shopping while the employees stand around.

So convenient and prices are stable in these uncertain times. Things are very easy to find and there is usually a lot of stock so I things do not run out. Very busy during weekends unless you go in the morning so be aware if that.

Very dishonest pricing practices. So many items were priced a certain way for ages but they deliberately paste a red prices down" sticker on top of the original to make it seem like the item is on discount

The old lady (long hair, Asian appearance) that always works at the self serve checkouts is incredibly rude and unprofessional - she should not be working in customer service with the way she treats customers. After reading other reviews glad to see I’m not the only one who thinks this.

Very unhappy and disappointed experience with shopping at Coles Castle Hill this afternoon after purchasing 4 Coles MasterCard gift cards which I have been charged $925.20 at self check out point but ends up with two of their gift cards couldn't activated at their end and the front counter lady whose served me said she will call their office to find out why and told me that they will fully refund if they resolved its and I told her I will came back later for these cards as I need gone home to open door for my kids after school. After an hour and half I went back there and they said to me my case will be investigation and told me they can't refund my money which they've charged to my bank account but I have to wait for their investigation and I went home without my gift cards! Also the afternoon duty manager had a very rude comments to me which I paid the money but couldn't received my goods!

Don’t forget to visit Aisle 6 for international items (Mediterranean, Indian, Asian).Unlike other Coles which close at 8:30pm during lockdown, this one it open until 10pm which is good for late night shoppers.

I have given up on this store now. Since extra self serve aisles have been installed where full service aisles used to exist even less checkout service people are available and service has deteriorated. As usual stock outs of sale items continue regularly. It is my closest supermarket but I will wear the inconvenience of a longer drive to avoid the consistent inconvenience in store . It's time for a change .
