Really friendly staff who knew the locals and very helpful. The food was amazing I had the Snitty burger with chips and the chicken salt was just a perfect amount. Will definitely come back here. The food is fresh and the atmosphere is calming.

Unpretentious good old fashioned milk bar with really great food. Extremely reasonable prices, the hot chips were crunchy, not oily and milkshakes fantastic. Highly recommend and would come back next time we are at the beach

Saffron's Milkbar & Deli
Come here every once in a while with friends for a milkshake and hot chips. It's just a vibe to be here, and especially satisfying on extra hot days. Chip portion is great, and the thick-shakes are pretty awesome. If it's busy, be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes, but no complaints from me since the atmosphere and food is awesome anyway.

milkshake was DELICIOUS but the wait for the milkshake was 40 mins :( would recommend the cashier to help out the one chef doing all the work

I walked by the place the other day and a couple of guys were having a burger and it looked awesome and I've been hanging out for 1 ever since. So heading home I decided to stop and have a burger with the lot ( excluding pineapple) and an espresso milk shake... both so yummy. Burger THE BEST I've had in a long time.So if you are down this way definitely worth dropping in, you won't be disappointed

I AM UPSET. I took me and my boyfriend here for our date today, and we left, with him in TEARS and me close to it. We ordered fries with our burgers, at first everything was great! Lovely staff and friendly faces! HOWEVER!! As soon as we're digging in to our fries... a hair. Now, this wouldn't normally bother me, a hair could be anyones'! I, upset, moved on. THEN, when I bit into my burger, the inside was raw. I could practically hear the cow crying. It was DISGUSTING! Not only should a restaurant cook their food COMPLETELY and PROPERLY but they should have their cooks tie back their hair. To top it all off, when I went to order a milkshake... IT WAS CHUCKY! I am genuinely and thoroughly appalled. So is my boyfriend. Saffrons Milk-bar and Deli RUINED our date. I have never felt more betrayed by such a (normally) wonderful place.
