Anchorbell Holiday Apartments

Not a hotel but separate townhouses, some 2-storey, all self-contained houses just a short walk to the great restaurants of down-town Merimbula. Couldn't fault it.

Great budget accommodation. Clean and has everything you need for a good stay. Sonja always cheerful and happy to help.

Ideally located, just a walk away from the main street , parks & beaches. Quiet at night time , pool & half tennis crt. Recommend.

Anchor Bell Self Contained Apartments at MerimbulaVisited on March 2021The apartments, owned by different owners, are very managed by the resident managers. The compound is clean and green, with a half size tennis court, swimming pool, and barbecue facilities.The 2-bedroom apartment we stay in consists of a Master bedroom with a double bed, and another bedroom with three single beds. There is no ensuite, and therefore with one bathroom and a seperate toilet, users should be considerate not to overe apartmentstay in them.The hot water system runs on off-peak electricity, and I lierally have a cold shower on the first night because one of our friends that shares accommodation has a hot bath in the bath tub when we arrived at the apartment.It is within walking distance to the main street, with a good selection of eateries including McDonald's, shops, and Woolworths.If the brown window frames, door frames and doors are painted white, future renters of the apartment are more than likely to give more positive feedback.

Clean, comfortable. Renovated bathroom, half renovation on the kitchen, (Doors and bench tops only) Good sized 3 bed apartment.

On arrival we were told one of the toilet is broken! I was ok with that funny thing is we were told as soon as payment was taken. On the same day the oven was not turning on so Kevin came by walked straight in with out knocking on the front door, looked at the oven played around and oops one of the knob came off, managed to get the oven working. He advised that he will get an electrician to come look at the oven. I responded as long as the oven works and we can use it today or on any other day while we are here then organise them to come when we leave. Kevin responded yes turn on and off from the knob on the righthand side....Come day 2 yep you guessed it oven won't turn on. So Kevin comes over again walks straight in without knocking with an electric fry pan! How rude!!! He looks at the oven attempt to turn it on and yep nothing. Simply no oven our dinner is spoiled...I would of appreciated some kind of apology but got nothing. He was rude to me by saying well you didn't want an electrician to come so there you go.Proper hostesses need to make sure their units are ready and functional for the next guest it as that simple.The only bonus was it was close to the main shops etc.Would I stay there again nope!!!

Very central to everything good in Merimbula. Clean unit with all aids, outside grounds in good condition. Owner most helpful, carport was a bonus, bed and pillow comfortable, reasonable prices all in all a very good experience.

Great convenient location close to the town centre. Pool and BBQ facilities are nice also. Highly recommend

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay..the apartment was clean spacious with wifi...and fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Sonia the manager is bubbly and super helpful. Homey vibe to this gem . Will definitely stay here again.
