I had a watch battery replacement by Michael. When I returned to pick it up, Michael told me the watch mechanism had died. I was very sad because the watch has a sentimental value. Michael tried again with another battery, and tried everything else that he could think of to fix it. He repeatedly appoligised as if it was his fault that the watch had died.I took the watch back even though it was beyond repair. What a fantastic service by Michael! I definitely will use his service again.

I have been taking my watches there for many years, He does a great job and has good knowledge about all watches. You can take expensive watches to him and the care you can trust.You can not beat the price, very good to replace a battery.Watch bands are good quaitly and he fits them at no extra charge.Many thanks for your professional service.

He scratched my brand new Tag Heuer failing to do just a simple change of watch strap. After going to a Tag Heuer watch shop I found the spring bars were damaged and bent. Rather than admitting any mistakes, he blamed me and said I was lying and didn’t acknowledge any wrongdoing at all. unbelievable!!!

I hadn’t used their services previously, but I recently tried to get these guys to remove the back of a watch I wanted to replace the battery in, as it was causing me some grief getting the case to pop off (and charge me to for them to do so). After explaining what I wanted, the lady there quite rudely rejected my request as I wasn’t going to buy a battery for the watch off them and told me they would only do it if I bought a battery as well (which I didn’t need).After reading other negative reviews I can see it’s not just me that has been left disappointed by their attitude and level of service.My suggestion would be just to pop over the road and use Mister Minute instead - they happily did the job for me and only charged me a fiver.

Highly recommended. Shocked at low rating. When I was a poor uni student I constantly broke and rusted my keys.Michael always looked after me. Fixed my vintage car keys, house keys etc. You name it - Michael had you covered.Never noticed the price( and was pretty stingy at the time) so expect it was at the very least reasonable.Actually googled as Michael was always so good wanted to do the drive northside to get my new car keys cut.Highly recommend to everyone, really lovely guy and always goes the extra mile to ensure you're happy and any issues would fix as soonas practical.

Would give zero stars if I could!! DO NOT GO HERE FOR ENGRAVING, he ruined a $300 signet ring by engraving one simple thing that was the letter G completely off centre and nothing like what was requested, on return to voice our complaints and that we will now have to pay $150 to replace it he said we were being fancy and couldn’t see a problem when it’s completely off centre, not sure if he’s completely blind or is a pathological liar but I couldn’t be more disappointed, we were hoping for our money back but a simple sorry would’ve been niceSave your money do not go here wish I could post photos on these reviews

Michael has been fixing my shoes for years. The service is great, quick and always top quality!

My shoes were expertly re-soled & heeled and are like new. He recommended the work to be done but left it up to me to decide what level I wanted. It is a pleasure to deal with someone this good who listens and is always pleasant. I would recommend this service to anyone who loves their shoes.
