Gllow Taiwanese Restaurant
I've eaten here a few times over the years and it's been hit and miss so today I decided to try it again.The duck pancakes were some of the best I've tasted as they were moist but also warm as they were served in a steamer, which is so much better than the normally served pancakes at other restaurants which are cold.Also ordered the lunch special of teriyaki chicken which was very yummy.Service slow and others (and much larger tables) were served before us (table of two) despite ordering after us.Will definitely return again soon and hopefully service will improve.

First of all, it’s actually a Chinese restaurant not a Taiwanese restaurant, the pork mince rice is not really authentic, but I’m sure other Chinese food are good. Don’t trust the dude below who says it’s traditional Taiwanese food, I’m pretty sure he has never been to Taiwan.

A succlent Taiwanese / Malaysian meal tucked away along the train tracks. As many reviewers have mentioned servings are generous with warm and friendly service.XXL Chicken Chop a highlight as are the Golden King Prawns.Will be back to sample more

this was a great dinner and full after this.love the Braised pork belly (滷肉飯）, so flavourful, so tender, the sauce are perfect with the steam rice. three cup chicken taste great. fried rice are pretty nice, Mee Sua was alright, they served with fried Oyster and no Coriander.a little bit of sad. but love the bubble milk tea, pretty refreshing

Absolutely wonderful Chinese restaurant with great service and delicious food. Highly recommend the Golden King Prawns and the Taiwanese Braised Pork that practically melts in your mouth. They have a range of iced and bubble teas as well as wines.

Gllow is a Chinese restaurant with a Taiwanese background, so you’ll find heaps of Taiwanese dishes on their menu. The dishes we ordered were tasty but felt it was missing some oomph like the noodles could have had some “wok hei”/char to it. Would be a lovely restaurant to take friends/family to for a chill night out.Ordered:Roti hand roll (3pcs) $16Pan fried dumplings (8pcs) $13.80Taiwanese rice noodles $17Char kway teow $17Golden king prawn $31Price: Entrees are on the pricier side. Rice/noodles and mains are large portions so pricing is fair.Service: Friendly, attentive.Venue: Fairly large restaurant with seating indoors and outdoors.Was I full? YesOverall: 3.8/5
