Crowdy Bay National Park
Go do the Diamond Head Loop walk. Made up of two different walks, that meet up to form a loop, give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the views and flora. Look out for whales, seals and dolphins. The area is still bushfire damaged but it’s incredible seeing how quick nature grows. The second half of the loop goes through forest with lots of native flowers to inspect, and Kangaroos to intimidate you (yo they’re so jacked, I need the routine). The first half is along the coast, with a few ways to get off the track and get a closer look at the rocky outcrops. There are paths along the track, but I did not realise this and spent way too long slowly manoeuvring the slopes to get to a pretty looking cliff (well worth it, see photos). This is so far the prettiest walk i’ve been on and you’ll see why.

Incredibly beautiful place to visit. There’s so much for you to explore. I recommended taking a walk along the coast and going to the beach.

Crowdy Bay National Park
3 different camp sites, toilets and showers with lights, well maintained, 4 wheel drives allowed on the beach, it is quite a long drive on a dirt road to access the beaches and campsites

Crowdy Bay National Park
Spent two consecutive weekends running Crowdy Bay National Park. First week started at Crowdy Head and headed north through the park. Its a strange national park, quite sparse in vegetation throughout, but strangely attractive. It is dominated by the coastal heath that grows in the park. When I was there there were lots of dead trees. I was told this was from fires earlier in the year. The second week I came down from the north, from Kylies Beach Campground and Diamond Head. Same vegetation. There are sweeping views of the Three Brothers, which dominate the park. I would highly recommend taking a look at this classic coastal park. Note that the main vehicular access track does not connect, so you can't go from north to south but rather have to head inland.

Great beaches, wildlife and forest. Road in is rough, pot holed and not paved.

Beautiful location and costal walk. My 6 year old managed to walk the loop trail but any younger and you'll be carrying them for a bit
