Henry Kendall Reserve

Henry Kendall Reserve , is a great spot for little things like a picnic or just to sit & have coffee ,while taking in the scenery. There are amenities, for those that need it. This place is excellent for swimming, boating & having a fish. The odd rope to swing from trees. There are shelted tables , in different places. You can launch smaller boats from two locations. There is even a beaut bush walking track , wich will take you around the lake or lakes depending how far you want to walk or mountain bike.

Great spot quite great fishing

Stunning place for a picnic and a bit of fishing. The restrooms are clean and well taken care of. Dogs are welcome.

Great dog park, a bunch of fig good left there to play with, good water facilities, a little bit of shade. Nice spot by the river up the road, toilets facilities.

It's a scenic location and a great spot to get a kyack in the water however it lends itself to unwanted night life and broken bottles often line the sitting areas under the trees. Not ideal for dogs or children.

Great dog park. Well fenced, grass recently mowed. Some shade, seating for owners and water for the dogs.

Popular Secret" spot where the locals like to go relax. Down a short gravel road from Ocean Drive you will find "Henry Kendall". Great for picnics

Visited the beautiful Henry Kendall Reserve in Laurieton to do the Parkrun there. This is a classical coast reserve. Lots of trails to head down, and lots of waterways to investigate. It is close to town and so not out of the way.

this dog park looks like a dog holding cell high wire chain fencing very small area in a very lonely place off the main road on a dirt track, I passed the sidestreet twice looking for it not well marked to find,It does not look like the ones in sydney that blend into the surrounding area the council needs to look @how its done in the city, next to outdoors areas shared by all, not looked away in a bleak area that is unkept and bush, its a pity as high dog ownership in Port macquarie area but they dont trust dogs here, they live in fear of what might happen!!intergrate dog parks into family parks! they are part of family not be left out in the cold as this park is nothing around for miles!!! If you go there bring everything yourself,

What a great hidden treasure of a dog park! Only a short way off the Motorway, ideal for a stop during long drives through the area. No other dogs when we were there, but we had some fun with the agility equipment- the jump was even adjustable in height. Fully fenced, water and (normally I guess) poo bags. Highly recommended!
